Chapter 14. Work day

Caleb POV
I woke up to the sound of my alarm going off so I could wake up for work. Aria whimpered softly as I reached over to turn it off. "Shh sleep princess." I cooed to her softly so she wouldn't wake up.

She scooted closer into my arms laying her head on my chest with her eyes closed. I covered her in the blanket waiting patiently until I felt her breathing even out so I could get up from the bed and get ready for work.

I slowly turned onto my side so she was laying on my pillow comfortably. I slowly and carefully got up from the bed standing up to my full height. "D-daddy." She whined sitting up on the bed crying with her eyes closed.

She stood up on her knees with her arms up crying for me. I picked her up she laid her head on my chest crying softly. "I w-wanna s-sleep d-daddy." She cried to me sleepily.

"I know princess you can sleep I have to get ready for work now." I told her while rubbing her back soothingly. "N-no d-daddy d-don't l-leave m-me I c-can't s-sleep w-without y-you." She cried tightening her legs around my torso.

"I'm only gonna be gone for a few hours I promise by the time you wake up I'll be home." I reassured her as she cried softly. She tightened her arms around me refusing to let me go.

"P-please d-don't l-leave m-me." She begged crying even more. "Okay, okay don't cry I'll take you with me. How does that sound?" I asked her so she wouldn't cry anymore.

"I w-wanna g-go d-daddy." She whispered through soft cries. "Okay but no more crying I don't want to see anymore tears fall from your beautiful eyes." I whispered to her.

"O-okay." She agreed as I kissed her head gently. I carried her with me into the bathroom so we could brush our teeth together. I sat her down on the counter grabbing her tooth brush and mine.

I put toothpaste on her tooth brush. "Smile for me princess so daddy can brush your teeth for you." I instructed her. She smiled showing me all her beautiful teeth.

I gently cupped her jaw holding her head still as I began to brush her teeth in circular motion for her. Her cheeks began to redden as she stared into my eyes while I focused on brushing her beautiful teeth.

I could tell she was getting nervous even tho she was so tired I somehow managed to make her nervous by doing simple tasks for her. "Stick your tongue out." She stuck her tongue out hesitantly blushing even more.

I brushed her tongue being extra careful so I wouldn't make her choke by going too far into her mouth with the toothbrush. She began to gag I stopped brushing her tongue a few more times before I allowed her to spit it all out.

"Good girl." I praised her as she rinsed her mouth out with water and spit it out into the sink. I began to brush my own teeth while she wiped her mouth with a small clean towel.

She ducked down under my arms resting her head on my chest while wrapping her arms around me. She closed her eyes slowly to get a little extra sleep while I brushed my teeth.

I spit out the toothpaste from my mouth rinsing my mouth out with water before I put my toothbrush in the small cup next to hers. I picked her up allowing her to continue resting while I carried her to our closet.

I went over to her side of the closet so I could pick her out an outfit. I looked through her dresses knowing she loved wearing dresses more than anything else and she looked absolutely flawless in any dress she wore.

I picked out a light blue dress with white flowers all over it for her to wear. I sat her down on the small chair we had in the closet so I could dress her up.

She was only wearing my T-shirt she held her arms up in the air for me so I could take it off of her. She had no bra on like usual I dressed her up in the dress while she continued sleeping.
