Caleb POV
I woke up to the sound of her whimpering softly in her sleep. I sat up on the bed as she began to cry in her sleep suddenly. "Princess." I whispered softly pulling her into my arms as she cried in her sleep.

"D-daddy." She sobbed softly in her sleep gripping my arms tightly as if she was afraid of something happening in her dream. "Wake up princess." I whispered softly to her.

Her eyes began to flutter open slowly as small tears rushed down her cheeks. She wrapped her arms around my neck crying softly against my chest.

"Shh it's okay princess daddy's here you're awake now." I cooed to her soothingly as she cried softly. I rubbed her back soothingly kissing the side of her head gently as she cried.

"I h-hate s-sleeping d-daddy I-it's s-so s-scary p-please d-don't m-make m-me g-go t-to s-sleep a-again." She begged pleadingly. "I need you to sleep princess you barely got any sleep." I reasoned with her.

All night she's been waking up from bad dreams she's only got two hours of sleep and that's not even a full two hours of sleep. "N-no d-daddy p-please." She begged pleadingly hugging me tighter.

"I c-can't s-sleep d-daddy I-it's t-too s-scary." She cried uncontrollably. "You can princess your my brave little princess." I encouraged her. "N-no d-daddy i c-can't." She refused to go to sleep.

"You can I know you can princess." I comforted her kissing her cheek softly as she cried softly. "I-I'm n-not t-tired d-daddy." She cried to me. "Okay shh it's okay." I comforted her.

She snuggled into my arms hugging me tightly while taking soft deep breaths to calm down. "Look at me princess." She looked up at me allowing me to wipe her tears away from under her eyes.

"No more tears okay you're too pretty to cry like this I won't let anyone or anything hurt you I promise." I assured her calmly. "I k-know d-daddy." She replied softly before laying her head gently on my chest.

I kissed her forehead lightly while brushing her hair back for her. "My pretty little princess." I whispered softly to her. "C-can w-we g-go f-for a w-walk d-daddy?" She asked me softly.

"Sure beautiful." I agreed knowing she needed some fresh air. She got down from my lap rushing towards our bedroom door to go downstairs.

"No running and I need you to put on a jacket princess it's too cold for you to go out in just a shirt." I told her. She turned around walking over to the closet so she could get her jacket.

"C-can i w-wear y-your h-hoodie d-daddy?" She asked me. "Don't ask princess just take it." I encouraged her. She grabbed my hoodie putting it on quickly while I grabbed another hoodie off the hanger to put on.

She put on her slippers and put mine by my feet so I could put mine on so we could head downstairs to go outside. I put my slippers on following behind her downstairs to the front door.

She opened the front door walking outside on the front porch reaching for my hand to hold. She grabbed my hand holding onto only two of my fingers instead of my whole hand.

She walked beside me along our long driveway towards the garden that had a long pathway leading to the huge backyard. She silently looked around at the beautiful flowers and trees in our garden.

I stayed silent admiring how beautiful she looked even when the only source of light was coming from the moon. She looked so beautiful I could hardly believe a woman could be so beautiful and perfect in my eyes.

She was so bright and joyful I couldn't understand for the life of me how her parents could even think about harming her in any way. She was so precious to me and that somehow pissed me off.
