After a long day at S.H.I.E.L.D. Academy, Y/n, Steve, and Bucky finally arrived back at the Avengers Compound. As they walked in, the familiar hum of the place brought a sense of comfort.

Y/n immediately headed to the kitchen, where she found Thor already rummaging through the fridge. "Hey, Thunder God, looking for something specific?" she teased.

Thor turned, a grin spreading across his face. "Ah, Y/n! Perfect timing. I was thinking of making a feast. Care to join me?"

"Absolutely," Y/n replied, grabbing an apron. "Let's see if you can keep up with my cooking skills."

Thor raised an eyebrow, his competitive spirit ignited. "Are you challenging me, Stark? I must warn you, I have centuries of experience."

"Oh, it's on," Y/n said, laughing. "But don't think I'll go easy on you just because you've got some fancy Asgardian tricks."

As they began preparing the meal, the kitchen quickly became a scene of playful competition and flirtation. Y/n and Thor exchanged jokes and challenges, each trying to outdo the other with their culinary prowess.

Thor leaned in closer as they both chopped vegetables. "You know, Y/n, I once cooked for an entire realm. What have you done?"

Y/n smirked, not missing a beat. "Well, I managed to make a five-star meal out of a bush during a mission. Beat that."

Thor laughed, his eyes sparkling. "Impressive. But can you handle this?" He tossed a small piece of fruit in the air and caught it in his mouth, winking at her.

Y/n rolled her eyes but couldn't suppress her smile. "Wait do that again she said as she walked to the other side of the counter."

"Okay." He said proudly and tossed a slice of cucumber and she threw a tiny dagger through it and it split in two perfect halves making them fall onto the floor. Thor put his hands on his hips and stared at her as she had that mischievous look on her face.

"Touché" he said and she laughed.

Bucky watched from the doorway, his expression hard to read. Steve, standing next to him, noticed the way Bucky's gaze lingered on Y/n and Thor. "Something bothering you, Buck?" Steve asked quietly.

Bucky shook his head, though his jaw was clenched. "Nah, just making sure Thor doesn't burn down the kitchen."

"Who let Thor in the kitchen!! He burned the toaster!!!" Clint said while running downstairs

Steve chuckled, unconvinced. "Right, because that's what you're worried about. Jealousy is not a good color on you."

"See, I'm not the only one that's worried. I'm not jealous, Steve," Bucky insisted, though his eyes never left Y/n and Thor.

Steve wasn't buying it. "Sure, you're not."

Seeing the exchange, Steve decided it was time to enlist some help. He found Natasha in the common area, lounging with a book. "Nat, we might have a little situation," Steve said, giving her a knowing look.

Natasha glanced up, a smirk forming on her lips. "Is Bucky jealous?" she asked, raising an eyebrow.

Steve nodded. "Thor and Y/n are getting along... really well."

Natasha closed her book, standing up with a mischievous glint in her eye. "Oh, this is going to be fun."

"Let's get everyone together and have a little party," Steve suggested. "A few drinks, some laughs. It'll be good for everyone."

Natasha nodded in agreement. "I think that's a great idea. I'll handle the drinks."

They spread the word quickly, and soon enough, the common area was filled with the sounds of laughter and clinking glasses. Natasha made sure everyone had a drink in hand, pouring generously from the collection of fine liquors Tony kept stocked.
