The four remaining Avengers gathered around a table in the dimly lit room, maps and blueprints spread out before them. Tony pointed to a location on the map. "This is Hydra's main base. We need to get in, disable any defenses they have, and extract Y/n. We have to be fast and precise."
Sam nodded, studying the layout. "We can enter through here," he pointed to a side entrance. "It's less guarded, and we can make our way to Y/n's location."
Wanda looked at the plans, her brows furrowed. "I can use my powers to create a distraction, maybe mess with their minds a bit to give us some time."
Bucky, his jaw set in determination, asked, "Okay. What's the plan for getting Y/n? We need to make sure she doesn't harm herself or us in the process."
Tony looked at him, his expression grim. "Bucky, you're the one who'll have to reach her. She trusts you the most. We need you to break through to her. She came here and looked for you, it's clear she won't harm you."
Bucky shook his head. "I don't think that's true. Tony, you're her father. She needs you to do this."
Tony's face fell, a mixture of regret and sorrow. "I lost that place in her heart a long time ago, Bucky. As much as it hurts to admit it, she trusts you more than she trusts me. You have to be the one to pull her out of this."
Bucky looked at Tony, seeing the sincerity and pain in his eyes. He nodded, accepting the responsibility. "Alright, I'll do it. I'll bring her back."
"You think this will work?" Sam asked.
"It has to." Tony said in a low voice. "Now let's go get my daughter back and kill this son of a bitch."
_________________________The quinjet landed silently a few miles away from the Hydra base. The team moved quickly and quietly through the forest, reaching the perimeter without incident. Sam took to the skies, scouting the area and relaying information to the team.
"Looks like they've got a few guards patrolling the area. I'll take care of them," Sam whispered through the comms, diving down and swiftly incapacitating the guards.
Wanda closed her eyes, concentrating on creating illusions to disorient any remaining Hydra agents. "Go now," she instructed, and the team moved in.
Tony led the way, using his suit to disable the security systems. They moved through the base with practiced precision, avoiding detection and taking out any guards they encountered.
As they reached the private quarters, they found Y/n in Lance's bedroom, distraught and punching a heavy bag in the nearby training facility. She was alone, her eyes glowing with Tesseract energy, her face a mask of confusion and anger.
Bucky took a deep breath and stepped forward, his heart pounding. "Y/n," he called out softly, his voice filled with compassion.
She stopped, her fists still clenched, and turned to face him. "What are you doing here? Why won't you just leave me alone." she demanded, her voice a mix of confusion and anger.
Bucky took a step closer, his hands outstretched in a gesture of peace. "It's me, Bucky. You know me. You know us."
"No," she shook her head violently. "Lance said you're the enemy. I love Lance."
Bucky's heart ached, but he pressed on. "No, Y/n. You don't. Lance has been lying to you. He's brainwashed you, manipulated you." He said coming closer.
"If you really loved him I wouldn't be standing here right now." He said and tears started to form in her eyes.
"Y/n if you really love him then kill me. Like you're supposed to. I don't want to live in a world where you love someone else." Bucky said his own eyes starting to tear up as her arm lit up and pointed at him.
