On a sunny morning, the group gathered at the Carerah's restaurant. They intended to examine the map Sarah had lent to John B, but not everyone was focused on the task at hand.

Jade and JJ had become inseparable after their passionate first night together. They couldn't resist each other's touch. Standing in front of the table where the rest of the group was seated, the lovebirds kissed with such intensity that they nearly forgot their surroundings.

"Can y'all stop making out over here? We have a map to look at!" Pope teased, his tone dripping with mockery as he interrupted his friends' kiss.

Following their friend's remark, JJ quickly withdrew his hand from his girlfriend's back pocket and raised his hands in playful surrender. He broke the kiss, glancing over Jade's shoulder to meet his friend's eyes. "Pope, you're just jealous 'cause you're not dating a hot Kook," he teased with a mischievous grin, punctuating his words with a friendly wink.

Pope responded with a laugh and rolled his eyes. However, the blond's joke didn't sit well with someone at the table. "At least he's not dating a liar," Kiara shot back, her tone cutting and a sarcastic smile playing on her lips.

Still upset with the Kook, Kiara seized every chance to jab at her about the lie. And Jade had had enough.

She turned sharply toward the table, shooting a venomous glance. "You know what? You win. I'm out of here!" she declared, her voice rising in frustration.

Realizing his girlfriend was about to leave, JJ clasped her wrists to hold her back, but she resisted fiercely. "Jade, stop," he sighed, tugging her gently closer.

"I'll be at Sarah's if you want to see me. Enjoy your stupid treasure hunt," she shot back, breaking free from his grip and striding decisively toward the restaurant's exit.

John B sprang to his feet and watched her leave with a mix of frustration and hurt. "That stupid treasure," he retorted, "is all my dad left me. I could really use my friends' support, you know," he added pointedly, stung by the Kook's words.

Jade's heart tightened, wanting to stay and help him, but she couldn't. "Well, just like Kie likes to remind me, I'm not a friend—I'm just a liar," she retorted before making her exit from the restaurant.

Staying was out of the question; as long as Kiara held her anger, Jade couldn't bear to be in her presence.
