As the elevator doors opened, revealing the grandeur of Tony Stark's party venue, we stepped out into a scene of opulence and excitement. Music floated through the air, mingling with the chatter of guests dressed in their finest attire. The room was adorned with sparkling lights and decorations, a testament to Stark's flair for extravagance.

The room was alive with the buzz of conversation and the clinking of glasses as guests mingled under the soft glow of chandeliers. Stark's parties were legendary for their extravagance, and tonight was no exception.

"Wow," I whispered, taking in the grandeur of the event.

"It's quite a sight, isn't it?" Steve remarked, leading us through the crowd towards a group of familiar faces.

Wanda and I exchanged glances, sharing a mix of excitement and nervousness as we navigated through the sea of people. As we approached, Tony Stark spotted us and waved enthusiastically.

"Well, look who decided to join the party!" Stark boomed, his charisma lighting up the room. "You two look absolutely fabulous!"

"Thank you, Tony," Wanda replied with a smile.

"Thanks," I managed, feeling slightly overwhelmed by the attention.

"And Steve.. you also look ravishing." He adds.

"You too, Stark," he places a hand on Tony's shoulder, feeling his velvet suit.

"You know everyone here, right?" Stark turned to me, asking and gesturing around at the mix of Avengers and guests.

"I'm getting there," I replied honestly, scanning the room.

"Well, let me introduce you to a few more," Stark said, leading us over to a group that included Bruce Banner and Natasha Romanoff.

"Bruce, Natasha, have you met our newest recruit?" Stark announced, drawing their attention. She gave a nod of acknowledgment.

Bruce smiled warmly. "Nice to formally meet you, Alana. How are you finding everything so far?"

"It's been... amazing," I replied, trying to sound composed despite my nerves.

As the evening unfolded, I found myself drawn into conversations with various Avengers, each sharing stories and insights about their experiences. Clint Barton and a face I recognized but hasn't met yet joined us.

"Alana!" Clint took a seat next to me, "it's so great to meet you."

"Yes. Clint, right?" I ask and he nods, gesturing to the huge man next to him.

"I'm sure you know my date, Thor." He chuckles after saying sarcastically.

Thor reaches a hand over and shakes mine firmly. His hand was easily three times as big as mine, "God of Thunder. No biggie, though," he spoke with an almost Australian sounding accent.

"Yup. I know all about you. Thor and Loki." I nod as he lets go of his hand.

"She knows us!" Thor beams in excitement. "He's not actually my date," he states, now whispering.

"Thanks, captain obvious." Clint hit his bicep with the back of his hand.

"Well no problem." Thor agrees, not sensing the sarcasm in Clint's voice.

"I'm gonna go get a drink. Do you think they have 200 proof liquor?" Thor asks, wandering off.

"Definitely not!" Clint yells back at him, getting up to follow the huge muscular man.

Steve approaches me with a smile a few moments after. "Having a good time?" He sat on the couch next to me, extending his arm to rest behind me.

"Yeah, it's incredible," I admitted, taking in the lively atmosphere.
