I woke up to a persistent knocking on my bedroom door, which soon turned into a rather insistent pounding.

"Miss Alana, may I enter?" Vision's calm voice came from the other side. I rubbed the sleep from my eyes and stumbled towards the door, still half-asleep.

"Oh, my apologies," Vision said as I opened the door, yawning. "I hadn't expected you to be asleep."

"No, Vis, it's okay. What's up?" I asked, trying to shake off the remnants of sleep.

"I just came by to let you know that Wanda and I have planned a special breakfast for you," Vision replied, his demeanor warm and earnest.

"For me? Why?" I asked, genuinely surprised.

"To celebrate two months of you officially being an Avenger, of course," Vision explained with a hint of a smile.

"No way it's been that long already..." I chuckled softly, feeling a mix of pride and disbelief.

"It has," Vision affirmed, his gaze steady and sincere.

I cleared my throat, suddenly self-conscious under Vision's unblinking gaze. "Okay. I'll meet you in the kitchen."

Vision nodded and turned to leave, his footsteps quiet and purposeful.

Quickly getting dressed, I made my way to the kitchen where Wanda and Vision had laid out a spread of pancakes, fresh fruit, and steaming coffee. Wanda greeted me with a warm smile as I entered, and I couldn't help but return it.

"Congratulations, Lana," Wanda said warmly, pouring me a cup of coffee. "We're glad to have you with us."

"Oh my goodness. You didn't have to do this," I replied sincerely, a warm smile spreading across my face as I took a seat at the beautifully set table.

"Of course I did," Wanda said with a gentle laugh, coming over to give me a brief hug from behind before taking her own seat. Her touch was comforting, a reminder of the genuine care that surrounded me here.

I plated some pancakes and fresh fruit, and Wanda did the same, the aroma of coffee filling the air as we settled into our breakfast. Vision stood nearby, observing quietly with his usual calm demeanor.

As we ate, Wanda and I chatted easily, the conversation flowing between bites of food and sips of coffee. She shared stories about previous Avengers celebrations and I found myself laughing along with her anecdotes, feeling more at ease than I had in a long while.

"Can I help you clean up?" I offered once we had finished our meal, feeling grateful for the gesture of friendship and wanting to contribute.

"Sure," Wanda replied with a smile, gathering up the empty plates and cups. Together, we cleared the table and loaded the dishwasher, the simple act of working together fostering a sense of camaraderie and belonging.

Once the kitchen was tidied up, I leaned back against the counter, feeling a sense of contentment settle over me. Wanda joined me, her expression thoughtful as she leaned beside me.

"Thank you.. so much," I said softly, grateful for her kindness and understanding.

"You're welcome, Alana," she replied warmly, her gaze meeting mine with a shared understanding of the complexities of life as an Avenger.

I glanced over at Vision, who was observing us with his usual gentle curiosity.

Later that day, as I sat in the common area reviewing mission reports. Lost in thought, I almost didn't notice Natasha entering the room until she cleared her throat softly. Startled, I looked up to find her standing there, a faint smile on her lips.
