Ch 4 Sophelia

' Ok , now i am ready to go ' i thought , as I saw myself for the last time in the mirror to make sure I looked completely ordinary .

I went to the window and jumped through and finally proceeded to my tour which I was quite excited about .

As I was walking through the street , they seemed as lively as they did before , after walking some distance i finally reached the spot where I met him yesterday.

He was already standing there waiting for me , I peeped behind him and touched his shoulder to call him .
Sorry for making you wait ' I said as he turned around to look at me and for a moment he stood still looking at me .
' Well I know you couldn't see me yesterday but trust me I am the same person ' I said with a assuring smile .

' Yaa , I know , I recognised your voice it's just that ,,, ( he paused for a moment) you are beautiful. ' he said and I could see his ears getting red , well maybe mine are getting too , Thanks ' I answered without making eye contact. Oh gosh I was getting nervous and before things got a bit awkward he said ,

' Shall we proceed for the tour , don't wanna get late and yes before we starts , let me introduce myself , I am Rayaan feren yuthar the head knight of Twilatia , pleased to meet you ' he said with a bow , took my hand and touched his forehead .
Well such a gentleman , he would be making girls melt with just his gesture and smile , but wait he is the head knight, aren't they like seniors , how old is he.

' You are the head knight right , so how old are ' I asked him with curiosity. ' 21 , I am the youngest head knight , told you not to question my skills ' he replied. ' And you ' .
I turned eighteen a month ago I replied.
' So what's your name , I told you mine it's only fair I know yours ' he said
' Sophe.... Sotira ' I said as I fumbled a bit to hide my name.

'Great then let's proceed '

And with that we both started our exploration
' okay so first , the current place we are is the famous market , you can find all sorts of things in Twilatia and maybe get sovereign, by the way you are from kingdom of Aquatia , right with your blue hair and eyes. '

' Umm , yes and I have come here for important work and thats a secret '
I said with a teasing smile .

' Ohh , hope it's not something I would need to get involved later ' he said with a wink that made my heart flutter, damnit, I really feel like an ordinary girl .

' well this market is great for trade and all but if you really wanna explore , come with me ' he said as he offered me his hand and I hesitantly took it .

We then proceeded to go some where which seemed to magnificent to belong to earth . It was almost like I had travelled to a different place.

'It is a very hidden place , a sacred one to be more accurate , it is said that the dark spirit animals come in this forest , you would be Lucky if you saw one . It is unknown to even most people in this Kingdom , but you're lucky I was your guide . He said as he stepped closer to me with an admiring expression on his face .

' Well ' as I was about to say fireflies started to gather around us .
' Woah , you really are lucky , these fireflies according to our culture are known to be the guider to one's destiny , they really play a role in bringing you closer to your soulmate, I have hardly seem in those dozen of times I have come here . He said while looking around at the fireflies in awe .
Well I don't know about being lucky but it may have something to do with me being the crown Princess after all I do have a connection with all beings I thought to myself.

They are beautiful aren't they ' he said as I saw the fireflies reflect in his eyes . Oh for god's sake weren't those eyes enough now the light of these fireflies were making them crazy gorgeous. I was just staring at him in awestruck when we pulled his hand infront of me and snapped me out . I need to get a grip .

Rayaan' pov

She is lost in her thoughts, I put my hand in front of her face waving it to snap her out . She is suddenly looking at me and man that is making me nervous.

Umm you seemed a bit lost , you okay ' I asked her making sure everything was alright.
Ya sure , shall we proceed she replied.
We started to walk onto the path that was now filled with fireflies, and surprisingly all of them. Were mostly surroundings her .
She started to catch them with her hands , and the scene made my heart flutter , damnit it was gorgeous.
' Ahh , finally caught it ' she said exitedly with a happy face and cheerful smile and turned to me to show it .
She came closer to me and opened her hand slightly ' look '
She said as I leaned in closer to look at it , it's beautiful I thought as I turned my face towards her only to realise it was inches apart . I could her breathing, and her heartbeat which was a bit fast .
' Sotira ' i said she looked at me , our faces were so close
' well the firefly flew ' I said to her and saw a confused look on her face , which was almost hilarious and so I couldn't help but laugh.

SOPHELIA pov

He was so close to me and when he called my name I just practically melted there , expecting something else but he just spoke 'the firefly flew' , it took me some moment to process that and I must have made a funny face during that cause he just started to laugh and I felt way more embarrassed than I already was . But despite that I couldn't ignore the lovely laugh and smile he had . It was also unreal , so warm , so delicate .

' Stop it , or I'll make you regret it ' I said with a rather angry face , pouting a bit .
He stopped and came closer to me and just brushed my hair saying ' there was a firefly ' on my head . God I never knew heart could beat so fast , so much that I could feel it explode .

'Alright let's proceed further ' he said with again extending his arm but I refused to take it this time

' I am more capable than you think , I don't need your support ' I said as I started to walk ahead of him .
' As you say my lady ' I heard him say as he caught up to me walking side by side .

Alright our next destination shall be the famous site that is the celestial Sanctum , it is a place where the whole galaxy is visible and with possibly the most advanced viewing technology , now let's proceed too much information can ruin the fun . He said as he excitedly ran off like a child , man he was 21 years which seemed very difficult to believe but so adorable , I thought as I too ran to catch up to him which wasn't difficult though.

He reached the top of the mountain which were climbing and turned around to look for me , but I was already behind him

Booh ! I shouted behind him , as he shrieked like a child before turning towards me having the pale expression as he had seen a ghost .
The reaction was so hilarious that I couldn't stop myself from laughing and burst into laughter

Rayaan' pov

I finally reached the top ... Though I am a bit breathless , I turned around in hope to see sotira , but I couldn't see her , well I wouldn't really blame her I must have ran fast and the climb was so tough , she must be taking time . I was busy in the thoughts of going back down and helping her ,

When someone jumped on me from behind , which honestly startled me soo much I might have shouted at it , and I was turning around to see who the culprit was , I was shocked to see sotira there .
How did she reached the top so quickly , was she even human , a ghost maybe , that thought sent me goosebumps and I must have been making a weirdly hilarious face cause she burst into laughter

A laughter I never knew could be lovely, so heartwarming that I could practically melt there and so sweet I might get diabetes.
Her laugh was more than adorable, in the moonlight that we stood , she couldn't appear less than a goddess to me , maybe that what she was , well that would explain her power . I thought to myself as I saw her with a smile on my face

Ok that's it for today , it was rather a sweet ch and u deserve for what's about to come
