Ch 39 New beginning

Shoot , this was the third time I was getting late for college, why can't I wake up on time , I sleep like a dead person and damn after putting 3 alarms how did I set all of them to p.m rather a.m no wonder mom questions how I am at the top of my class .

I go downstairs clumsy as always as I trip over my own foot , facing flat on the staircase and as I turned my head to look at the very beautiful fan on the ceiling that I don't know how many times I must be seeing it this way when I came across a scary thing instead.

I was startled by mom looking upside down at me with a  disappointed look on her face that was so obvious .

" Get up Kiara and eat your breakfast " she said to me as I quickly got up and was about to run off the door saying

" Can't have , late for college"
I was about to exit the door when a very strong hand grabbed my bag pulling me back inside , I sure knew from where my strength came from .

She pulled me inside and shoved a bananan in my mouth
" Banana seriously , a bread would be better, you know the people how am I supposed to go while eating it "
" Exactly so eat it here and then go " she said as I quickly ate hurried outside and i knew I wouldn't make it on time so I just walked more peacefully , if I have to be scolded why not get scolded after having some peace .

The streets were filled with crowds going along the flow , kids were off to school , oh i missed school , more like school friends , definitely not those assignments and projects that I hated to do , glad to get rid of them , my creativity was getting exhausted.

I kept on walking as I saw all kinds of things on my way , sure they were there daily but i didn't have the time to appreciate it , the dogs lying on the ground , water fountain on the way , a man selling fruit chills that was definitely my favorite when I used to go school .

I somehow unwillingly reached the college, and the first lecture was about to get over , I had expected the sir to not be there but when I reached my lecture hall and was about to enter it , I saw the teacher just walking out dang it , my luck sucks .

He saw me and again started his lecture.
" You are my top student Kiara and you coming late ..... " The rest i honestly didn't hear the first line was the only thing that interested me or i liked .

He went out as I nodded to everything he spoke without listening to a single word .

The most annoying thing was walking right behind him as he stood there with a grin on his face that i so wanted to scratch.

And as soon as the professor left , he came to me saying

" Look's like someone's late for ... Nevermind I lost count for how many times I got to see you getting scolded, it's quite pleasant actually"

" Shut up Kuan , and congrats you can finally beat me in something even if its getting on time " I said to him as he leaned in closer saying .

" Fiesty are we Kiara " he teased with a grin on his face .

" There is a lot to that if you ask me , want me to show " I said raising my eyebrow as he huffed a laugh and then left with his friends.

I was too busy annoyed by the person's presence i hadn't noticed the presence of less important annoying things - Sarah .

" I should give Kuan some perfume after he was so close to you , I am afraid the smell must have transferred" she said as her minions giggled behind them while I tried my best to not make the most judgemental face of their existence.

" Why try to be the mean girls Sarah , at least they were pretty " I said rolling my eyes off at them , I didn't really cared about looks but I knew how much she did , so I just pressed her trigger point so she wouldn't bother me next time but unfortunately that's not the case .
