I woke up to see her in my arms , she was so peacefully asleep , and her sleepy face seemed so much like a child , so strange to see the ruthless crown Princess, correction empress like this , like so vulnerable, she stirred a bit as I couldn't help but smile at her brows furrowed as she slowly opened her eyes .
" How long did we sleep ? " She asked yawning as we both sat up on the bed , while she stretched.
Approximately, 3 hours , I replied, to which she let out a tired sigh . She looked at her clothes and must've realised she slept in her gown .
" So I guess I must change again , get ready again or we would be late " she said as she lazily got off the bed and looked at me pouting, as she said .
" Can't we just exchange the rings right now , I mean we can call everybody and get over it , I really wanna sleep " she said and it was new seeing her lazy side , her too tired to the things vibe .
I sarcastically made a comment " Get over it ? And here I thought you were excited about it , it made me sad " I said with an exaggerated expression on my face .
She narrowed her eyes looking at me as she said
" This engagement ceremony is just a validation and I don't need any validation to name our relation , I already know our relation is serious and true , so with or without the ceremony, you are still mine " she said with a smirk on face as mine turned red , damn and they called me a flirt , she was an expert, I got up from the bed and made for the exit , I knew I would be late , if we wasted any more time here . So I just left saying
" Meet you in an hour " .

He left and I couldn't help but chuckle , he was adorable. Alice wasn't in the room and I guess she must she busy preparing for the ceremony and before she comes I must get ready .
My clothes were already out and settled, to be honest I was exhausted from the dresses I had to wear but luckily, this one wasn't as heavy as the one I was wearing it was simple starry gown matching my ring , given by Kwain's mother , she was so generous . I looked at the box , i still hadn't worn it , hoping he would be the one to make me wear it .

It was long till my knee and below that I wore black heels .
I wore some matching earrings with it and a simple pendant . I let my hair loose which was in a bun till now . My hair flowed as I looked in the mirror I was ready and I was quite tired to notice before that I was honestly excited. Just then I heard a knock on the door . " Kira , are you ready " Alice said as she opened the door to look at me and I could read her expression of awe . She stepped closer to me with her hands on her mouth as she hugged me saying .
" I can't believe you are getting engaged , I feel so happy for you , after every thing you've been through, you deserve it "
she said as tears escaped her eyes , while I wiped them , it was so silly for her to cry , to care so much about me , it warmed my heart. She was ready too , in a beautiful golden gown she got from her mother , that she told me , it was her last gift from her .
