JEALOUSY is an emotion that every person is familiar with. Within the past week, this boiling emotion had been situated in the pit of William's stomach. The thought of Christian leaving him for another man made him feel nauseous and hot.

One thing that William was blessed with was his brain. Although it failed him at times, he was an amazing planner. He knew that he had two more wishes, but he figured that even his first wish could be enough to bring Christian to his knees if it was used correctly. This idea ensured that William had two wishes to spare, and that Orion got to spend more time on Earth. It was a win-win situation for both men.

William stood outside Orion's temporary guest room as he waited for Orion to reveal himself after his vague instructions. Make yourself look nice, William had said. There was nothing more threatening to an ex than a new lover who looked better than them.

William had gone as far as buying Orion new clothes to wear so that he could initiate the first phase of his plan. He was confident that what he was about to do was going to work, and he was positive that Christian would come back to him.

As Orion opened the door, William's thoughts came to a halt.

Orion's blond hair was slicked back with lightweight gel, giving it a wetter look in comparison to his usual fluffy locks. With his hair away from his face, William could see his features more clearly. They were angular and sharper than he thought, with his chiselled jaw and enamouring cheekbones. His deep green eyes captivated William's stare, and the nervous gulp of his throat had him fixated on his Adam's apple.

"Oh," William breathed. "You look... good."

Orion glanced over William from head to toe. "You look good too–" he cleared his throat, "more than good. Super good."

William chuckled at that. Orion had clearly not looked at himself in a mirror, because his beauty was leagues above everyone else's. Perhaps he was better-looking than Christian as well, but that was a thought that William hastily cast away.

"I don't look better than you, that's for sure. I didn't even bother to do anything but wear nice clothes. I'm surprised that you figured out how to do your hair."

Orion's face began to heat up. "You still look really good."

William felt the urge to tease him. "What? Do you think these colours look good on me?" He gestured to his azure blue button-up shirt.

"No, I think your hair looks good. And your face."

"I didn't do anything to my hair, or my face."

"I know."

William smirked amusedly. He couldn't help but notice that despite Orion's large and muscular build, he tended to be cute.

William grabbed his hand. "Come on, we have some photos to take."

William spent almost an hour trying to get a good picture of himself and Orion getting ready to go to their "night out". It was difficult, and also very awkward because the two men knew that they weren't going anywhere. They were just trying to catch Christian's attention on social media.

Although Orion had liked how they looked in every photo, William was not satisfied. He criticized something in the photo every time. Not intimate enough. Too friendly. Too staged.

"Okay," William sighed, "this isn't working. I'm trying a new pose."

"What do you think-"

Orion was cut off because William had abruptly placed himself right in his lap.

He shifted around on Orion's lap, taking numerous pictures in hopes that at least one would turn out natural, and appealing. He felt Orion's entire body stiffen below him, as he shoved his face into the crook of William's neck during a few of the pictures.

After a few minutes, William sat back down on the couch and started skimming through the pictures. His eyes widened when he came across the perfect one, and the first thing he did was create a new post on his social media account.

Unbeknownst to William, Orion reached out to grab a pillow on the couch and placed it in his lap. He stared off into the distance in a daze and lazily leaned back on the couch.

When William put his phone down, he turned towards Orion. "Sorry about that."

"About... what?" Orion said dreamily.

"I just randomly jumped into your lap," he chuckled, "you don't have to worry. That won't happen again."

Orion frowned, and William assumed that it must have been because he was confused about the man's actions.

"Okay.." Orion cleared his throat. "Did you already choose the picture?"

William nodded. "Yup. I posted it. Christian will see it in no less than an hour. He's a total phone addict."

"Why hasn't he seen it yet?" William groaned.

Orion continued organizing William's living room as if it were a gigantic puzzle. Throughout the past week, William had recognized that Orion was incapable of staying still. "Maybe he's busy." Orion mumbled.

William knew Orion was correct. Christian was an aspiring artist. He could have easily been painting, which took him hours to complete. But that possibility wasn't causing William his distress. His distress grew at the thought of Christian being busy, because he was with someone else. He didn't want to think about the fact that he might have already lost Christian to another man altogether, but he couldn't stop insecurity from seeping into his mind.

William was growing desperate.

"Orion," William called as Orion halted his movements and turned toward him. "I think I'm gonna use my second wish."

Orion raised an eyebrow, his arms crossed as he awaited William's wish.

"I wish.. for my latest post to go viral on the internet."

He didn't care whether or not it was botted. He just needed the visibility to make sure that Christian and whoever he was with, could not ever ignore it.

Orion clenched his jaw. "Your wish is my command."

Relief washed over William's body. He smiled at Orion, appreciative of all his help.

"Now there's no way he won't see it." William beamed.

"And, you've used your second wish."

"I don't think it was a... bad one. Maybe I'll even get some brand deals." William joked, but Orion didn't laugh, he just stared at William blankly.

"Yeah," Orion mumbled, "maybe."
