Chapter #7: When Regions Collide Part #2: Serena vs Misty.

Ten minutes early in the locker room at the Cerulean Gym, Serena finally healed both Ash and Greninja's injured elbows after they fought in an exhibition gym match.

Serena: "Ash, good job fighting out there against your old companion."

Ash: "Yeah, it's been a while I fought her."

Serena: "And also, it has been a while since you and your Greninja syncronized during your battle since we fought against Lysandre."

Ash: "You're right, and I didn't even use much Greninja in the Alola Region and mostly island grand trial."

Serena: "But you finally use your Greninja against your old companion, and you win the match."

Ash: "I guess you're right. And Greninja, I am sorry for not using you for the island grand trial against Island Kahuna."

Ash's Greninja: "[Ninja.]"

Ash: "For now on, I'm going to use you for the island grand trial or some island trial."Ash's Greninja: "[Gre Gre!]"

Serena's Braixen: "[Braix Braix!]"

Serena: "It looks like my Braixen is finally happy to see Greninja battle against the island kahuna grand trial."

Serena's Braixen: "[Xen Braixen!]"

Ash: "You look like a Braixen-like participant on island challenges, especially the grand trials."

Serena: "Is it true, Braixen? Do you like volunteer island challenges and grand trials?"

Serena's Braixen: "[Braix Xen!]"

Serena: "Alright, Braixen, for now on, I'm going to use you on the island challenge and grand trials."

Serena's Braixen: "[Xen Xen!]"

Serena: "Hey, Ash?"

Ash: "Yeah Serena?"

Serena: "I glad I followed and dating you?"

Ash: "Serena, what do you mean?"

Serena: "Because of you, I just got even stronger, with more determination, and especially with our Pokemon, and I see why the Alola Region is so special for us."

Ash: "I guess you're right."

Serena: "Umm, Ash?"

Ash: "Yes Serena?"

Serena kissed Ash on the lips. While kissing, Ash and Serena hug and smooch each other for their private moment.

The next day is the is the final day of the Exhibition Gym Battle.

In the fifth round between Brock and Clemont, which is permitted by Professor Kukui, they are going to battle before Misty and Serena. Clemont used his chesspin, while Brock reused Steelix. Battle Rage On, Clemont revealed that his chesspin learned low kick. Brock removes his shirts, revealing muscularity and a Mega Stone! He uses it to become Mega Steelix again.

Clemont revealed he also uses the Z ring and Fightinium Z that he borrowed from Ash and Serena, which was permitted by Professor Kukui.

Clemont used Z-move to create their own syncronized power for All-Out Pummeling, then he released, and Steelix survived the Z-move attack due to his sturdyness, but Clemont already knew that, so he already commanded Chespin to use Tackle before Brock reacted.

Brock used Stone Edge to stop the Chespin attack, and Chespin managed to jump on each stone edge that Steelix summoned and managed to jump high. Clemont used the pin missile, which caused Steelix to be defeated, and Clemont won the battle.

Brock congratulates Clemont for outsmarting him, which Clemont appreciates. Brock also congratulates Brock for having fought, and they both experienced fighting Kanto Gym Leader vs. Kalos Gym Leader. Clemont returns Z-Ring to Ash, while Fightium Z returns to Serena.
Clemont said good luck in Serena's battle against Misty, and Serena was ready to fight Ash's old first companion.

Professor Kukui revealed that Clemont and Bonnie are going to Pokemon School with them if Clemont wins the battle, which he did.

After the battle, Serena revealed that she was going to give Chespin her homemade macarons if Chespin won against Steelix, which it did, and she gave him a him a full basket of macarons, and Chespin was so happy and ate much more.

The sixth and final round of the Exhibition Gym Battle between Serena and Misty. The battlefield was the was the same as yesterday between Misty and Ash. Everyone is cheering for them. Serena and Misty exchange their worlds, and after that, Misty and Serena start releasing their pokeballs. Misty chose Gyarados again, while Serena chose Sylveon. Misty is amazed at Serena's Sylveon, but Serena is ready for a for a heavy battle against her, which she is also ready for.
 Brock started the battle between Serena and Misty, which has begun.

Serena: "Sylveon, Moonblast!"

Sylveon spreads its feelers wide open, and an image of the moon appears behind her.

Misty: "Gyarados, Hydro Pump!"

Gyarados is channeling powerful water into its mouth. Sylveon forms an orb of pink energy in front of its mouth and fires it at the Gyarados. Gyarados blasts a powerful jet of water out of its mouth at the Sylveon. Hydro Pump and Moonblast bumped into each other, then an explosion occurred.

Clemont: "That's impressive! Hydro Pump and Moonblast are even matches."

Sophocles: "Indeed right."

Mallow: "Wow, when I saw Serena battling style, I was going to be impressed by her."

Lillie: "Me too."

Kiawe: "Impressive, and it looks like Serena has the upper hand if Misty uses her mega stone to mega evolve into Gyarados, which is a water and dark type."

Bonnie: "Go, Serena, you can do it! "

Dedenne: "[Dedenne!]"

Misty: "Impressive, Serena! No wonder you and Ash are closer to each other and adopted his battle style."

Serena: "Yeah, but are you jealous of me?"

Misty: "Kind of yes! Gyarados, Rain Dance!"

Gyarados roars, summoning a dark cloud that spins around and then stops. Rain then pours from the cloud.

Serena: "I know you were going to use your Mega Stone, and I am ready for that."

Misty: "I'm glad I heard that, Serena. Gyarados, Mega Evolve!"

Misty activated Mega Keystone on her hair clip and started syncronizing their bond with Gyarados's Gyaradosite, creating a powerful evolution into Mega Evolution. Mega Gyarados appeared on the battlefield.

Kiawe: "Misty has now finally used her Mega Stone, but Serena has Z-Ring and Fairium Z."

Clemont: "You're right, and this battle is going to be decided."

Professor Kukui: "And it's going to be fun to watch."

Misty: "Fear the power of Mega Gyarados, Are you scare, Serena?"

Serena: "I am not scared of anything but ghosts."

Misty: "So you are scared of ghost-type Pokemon, Uhh?"

Serena: "Indeed, right, Misty, but not all of them."

Misty: "I see."

Serena: "And I heard you also scare most of the bug types, especially a cute Caterpie."

Misty: "Because those bug types are the most disgusting in the world!"

Serena: "You do realize they have feelings."

Misty: "I don't scare and stop saying our own weaknesses."

Serena: "Yeah, right, because you can't handle cute bug type, especially with a cute little Carterpie."

Brock: "Uh Oh! This is bad!"

Ash's Pikachu: "[Pika Pika Pika!]"

Ash: "Oh no! Serena, you could not do that!"

Kiawe: "What's wrong, Ash?"

Ash: "She couldn't say that because..."

Bonnie: "Ash, because why?"

Ash: "Look?"

Ash's Pikachu: "[Pikapi!]"

When everyone looked at Misty, suddenly everyone's faces started to look scared and intimidating due to Misty's angry aura around her.

Misty: "That all you want! Gyarados, use Hurricane!"

Gyarados releases a powerful cyclone of wind that encircles the Sylveon but.

Serena: "Sylveon, is it time to use our defensive style. Use fairy Wind!"

Serena's Sylveon: [SYL VEON!]

Sylveon pulls its feelers together, and the air around Sylveon starts spinning to create a large ring of fairy wings around herself in order to avoid the Mega Gyarados's Hurricane and managed block hurricane. Mega Gyarados took super effective from Fairy Wind.

Misty: "What the!"

Brock: "Is that Counter Shield?"

Kiawe: "So Serena copied the style of Brock, Uhh?"

Clemont: "Actually, Ash made that Counter Shield?"

Lana, Lillie, Sophocles, Mallow, and Kiawe were shocked that Counter Shield originated from Ash.

Mallow: "Ash, did you invented the Counter Shield?"

Ash: "Yep, I adopted that defensive and offense style back in Sinnoh with Brock and our old companion that lived in Sinnoh."

Sophocles: "I see why."

Misty: "Are you alright, Gyarados?"

Misty's Gyarados: "[Monster Roar!]"

Misty: "Alright, use Hydro Pump!"

Mega Gyarados fires a powerful jet of water from its mouth at the Sylveon but.

Serena: "Sylveon, use Quick Attack!"

Sylveon's body becomes outlined in a light blue aura and it charges at the Mega Gyarados with incredible speed. Sylveon dodged Hydro Pump via quick attack, and she managed to hit Gyarados, and Gyarados took damage.

Misty: "Gyarados!"

Serena: "Alright, Sylveon, it is time for our performance!"

Serena's Sylveon: "[Sylveon!]"

Serena crossed her arms and pink symbol flashed in front of her and Z-Move on her Z-Ring activated.

When Misty saw Serena, she realized that Serena already used her Z move.

Misty: "I won't let you do that! Use Hurricane and Hydro Pump full power!!"

Mega Gyarados creates a powerful cyclone of wind that encircles the Sylveon.

Clemont and Bonnie witness on Serena perform her Z-move. Serena and Sylveon performed their Z-move, and it start activate the Twinkle Tackle from her Fairium Z.

Serena: "Sylveon, it is time to shine. With our bond, Sylveon and I. Our showcase performance will bring us to greatness! Sylveon, Twinkle Tackle!"

Serena's Sylveon: [Sylveon!]

The Sylveon creates a very charming space and managed dodge both Hydro Pump and Hurricane attack and then start totally toys with the Mega Gyarados and then attacks it with her head. Gyarados was super effective, and an large explosion occurred.

Misty: "Gyarados No!"

Everyone is shocked and keeps waiting for the smoke to disappear. After Smoke disappears, Sylveon stands in front of Serena while Mega Gyarados goes down and returns to its normal form.

Brock: "Gyarados is unable to battle! Sylveon is the winner!"

Serena: "Sylveon, we actually did it!"

Serena's Sylveon: "[Sylveon Veon!]"

Bonnie: "Serena won!"

Dedenne: "[Dedenne!]"

Clemont: "Good job, Serena!"

Ash: "Congrats Serena."

Mallow: "Serena and her Sylveon are so great! "

Lillie: "I know right, Mallow!"

Misty: "That was an amazing battle, Gyarados!"

Misty started returning her Gyarados to the pokeball.

Misty: "Serena, you adopted the battle style of Ash, huh?"

Serena: "Yeah, and he's the reason why I am not giving up, as well as our dreams and determination."

Misty: "I see. You and Ash are a perfect couple."

Serena: "You're right."

Misty: "But anyway, I'm going to bring you the scariest ghost-type Pokemon to you Serena."

Serena: "And I'm going to bring you a cute little Caterpie to you also Misty."

Brock: "Okay, you two! Stop it!"

Sunset at the airport in Kanto Region. Misty gave her replica of Cerulean Gym to Serena, Bonnie, Lillie, Lana, and Mallow, while Brock gave it to Clemont, Kiawe, and Sophocles for the exhibition gym battle, which they appreciated. Ash, Serena, and others, including Clemont and Bonnie, said farewell to their friend in Kanto. Brock and Misty farewell to Ash, and Ash farewells to them. Ash, Serena, and others started leaving on their airplane back to Alola Region. Clemont and Bonnie are excited to experience Pokemon School in Alola and hope to get their own Z-move. Meanwhile, Jigglypuff was sleeping on top of the airplane's winds as it headed to Alola Region.
