Chapter #11: Litten vs Incineroar!

A weeks later, at midnight, at Professor Kukui's house. Serena wrote her diary about her adventure after encountering Bozzwole a few weeks ago.

Serena: 'In the morning, Clemont started leaving us for the Island Challenge on Melemle Island and Akala Island for the Z crystal, while Bonnie also accompanied him with the map that was given by Professor Kukui in case they lost. Clemont thanked us for their location on Hala and Olivia for giving the Island Challange and grand trial. Ash and I say farewell and good luck to them in their challenges, and he also promised he and Bonnie would come back to them once their island challenge was over. A few days later, at the beach, while Ash is training with his pokemon, I am practicing my performance so we do not get rusty for my future contest and help me achieve my goal. Delphox is doing just fine just like before. Sylveon is doing excellent work. Pancham is also doing great work. And finally, my two new performers are Snivy and Formantis. Snivy is doing excellently, just like Sylveon, but Formantis kind of struggles, so help her, and it took me a while before Formantis mastered it.
Suddenly, my Formantis evolved into a Lurantis. I showed my newly evolved Lurantis to Ash and others, and they were proud of it and congratulated me for evolving my Formantis to Lurantis. And she's also learned a petal blizzard that might be useful for the contest.'

'A few hours ago at the sunset, at Professor Kukui's house, Professor Kukui and Burnet were out for their own things. Ash and I, along with our Pokemon, were watching a Pokemon Battle Royale, and we were just enjoying it. Ash Litten looked angrier than before because Masked Royal's Incineroar looked like Litten fighting its own final evolution, just like Pikachu, and my Delphox back then was Fenniken, who suddenly evolved to Braixen against Aria's Delphox, and Ash's Talonflame back then was Fletchling and suddenly evolved to Fletchinder against Moria's Talonflame. I was just wondering why baby Pokemon wanted to challenge their own evolution.'Masked Royal and his Incineroar are so great for wretling, and our pokemon love it except for Litten. Ash and I are enjoying watching, and it seems we are going to be fans of him. I saw other Final Evolutions of Alolan starters, and they were great, especially Machamp, but there was no match for Masked Royal's Incineroar, and Masked Royal used his own Z-Move, which was only for his Incineroar, and it was so great, just like Pokemon Performance. Professor Burnet arrives, and she's also a fan of Masked Royal. We decided to go to the Battle Royal Dome, and we invited our friend to watch Masked Royal and his Incineroar, and Litten was excited.'

Serena: "I am done, and I am going to be excited to see Masked Royal and his Incineroar tomorrow, and I hope I get his autograph. I better sleep now."

In the afternoon outside of the Battle Royal Dome, Ash, Serena, and Alola friends met outside of the Battle Royal Dome, and they were excited to watch the Masked Royal and his Incineroar. 

A few minutes later, inside the Battle Royal Dome, they are excited to see Masked Royal and his pokemon. And Masked Royal appeared out of nowhere, and they used his signature pose, in which Ash and Serena joined them too. Masked Royal wants to battle the stronger opponent, and he has already called his Incineroar. Everyone seems to like to battle the Masked Royal, but Masked Royal chose suddenly Ash's Litten came from the audience and landed at the Arena to challenge Incineroar, and Masked Royal seemed to like it. Ash apologized to Masked Royal, but Masked Royal chose Ash as a challenger, which he accepted. Suddenly, they chose the rest of the challengers, like Kiawe and Sophocles, but Ash, Sophocles, and Kiawe were outsmarted by Incineroar and defeated. After they were defeated, Ash gave Serena a picture of Masked Royal and his Incineroar with an autograph by Masked Royal, and Serena thanked his boyfriend, and Ash was also happy to see his girlfriend happy.

At night outside Professor Kukui's house, Ash, Serena, Professor Kukui, and their pokemon except Rowlet are sleeping again while watching Litten get training for revenge on Incineroar.

Serena: "Um, Professor Kukui, what happened to Ash's Litten? And why is Litten so angry and determined to defeat Incineroar?"

Professor Kukui: "It might've had an effect on Litten's battling instinct."

Ash: "Battling instinct?"

Serena: "What's that for?"

Professor Kukui: "Its aggressive side may have been awakened after battling Incineroar, its final Evolution."

Serena: "I see why Ash's Litten is determined to defeat Incineroar, just like me and  my Delphox were trying to defeat Aria but failed to claim the throne, but we continue to do so to reach our goal."

Professor Kukui: "Serena, I am sorry when you lose Pokemon Showcase against Aria, but keep it up until you reach your goal."

Serena: "You're right, Professor! Just like Ash said, Litten was determined to defeat the arch rival, and I think I am might doing the same thing to beat Aria for Kalos Queen Title."

Professor Kukui: "That's a spirit, Serena, and keep it up, and I always supported you."

Serena: "Thank you, Professor Kukui!"

Professor Kukui: "Anyway, Ash."

Ash: "Yeah Professor?"

Professor Kukui: "Try helping Litten."

Ash: "Of course, Professor."

Ash and his Pokemon try training with Litten to get stronger and try battling Incineroar. Serena, her Pokemon, and Ash's Greninja are going to sleep while Professor watches them. Ash and his Pokemon try training with Litten to get stronger and try battling Incineroar.

Serena and her friends enjoy watching them. Clemont and Bonnie arrived after their Island Challenge and Grand Trial on Melemele Island and Akala Island.

Clemont: "Ash, Serena, and everyone, we're back!"

Bonnie: "We're back, guys!"

Everyone: "Clemont and Bonnie, welcome back!"

Kiawe: "So, Clemont, how do the Island Challenge and Grand Trial go?"

Clemont: "It was kind of hard, but we managed to plan it and pull it off. Our first grand trial was kind of hard, but I managed to defeat Hala, who gave me a Fightinium Z. Before that, we managed to defeat Totem Gumshoos and revive it, and Gumshoos gave us a Normalium Z."

Bonnie: "And we are our new Pokemon?"

Ash and Serena: "A new Pokemon?"

Bonnie: "Brother, please show them."

Clemont: "Gladly."

Clemont picked up his pokemon and called it Oricorio (Pom-Pom Style).

Ash: "You got the Oricorio!"

Sophocles: "It is Pom-Pom style."

Serena: "And just like Lillie's butler, Hobbes."

Lillie: "I know right, Serena."

Clemont: "Oricorio seemed to be playing and battling with us, but we managed to capture it with my help and, of course, my Bunnelby."

Ash: "Congrats Clemont."

Mallow: "Clemont, did you take the Island Challenge and Grand Trial on Akala Island?"

Clemont: "Of course, Olivia helped us locate Totem Pokemon Lurantis, and it seemed hard to fight Lurantis, but we managed to defeat it with my Oricorio and Chespin, and we just used our Revive Herbs and medicine to heal Totem Pokemon, and Lurantis gave us a Grassium Z."

Bonnie: "Wait, Serena, is that your Lurantis?"

Serena: "That's right, Bonnie, it just evolved a few days ago!"

Bonnie: "That was so cool after we fought Totem Lurantis, and we now see a normal-sized Lurantis."

Clemont: "Congratulations to your newly evolved Serena!"

Serena: "Thank you, Clemont."

Kiawe: "So did you challenge Olivia on the Grand Trial?"

Clemont: "Yes, and Olivia chose double battles for grand trials."

Kiawe: "What! Olivia is full of surprises. Olivia fought two of her pokemon against Ash and Serena. now this."

Lana: "Olivia seems to love to challenge non-Alola people with her own mode."

Ash: "So what happened back then? Did you win?"

Clemont: "Of course, I win the grand trial. We were having a bad time against her Probopass and Lycanroc and her Stealth Rock Trap and Magnet Bomb, but we managed to pull it up with the help of Chespin and Bunnelby. Bunnelby evolved to Diggersby and learned Hammer Arm, and I managed to counter Olvia Z's move against my Z's move and destroy all stealth rock in the process. With the help of Chespin and Diggersby's teamwork, we managed to defeat Olivia's Pokemon, and she's about to give us a Rockium Z, but I don't have rock type or moves on my Pokemon. Instead, Olivia gave me a Groundium Z."

Serena: "Clemont, can you show us your Groundium Z?"

Clemont: "Of course, Serena."

Clemont shows his Groundium Z, and everyone is amazed and congratulates Clemont, and Clemont is happy with his friend.

Suddenly, Masked Royal and his Incineroar arrived and approached Ash, Serena, and others.
Serena introduced Clemont and Bonnie to Masked Royal and his Incineroar.
Clemont and Bonnie know Masked Royal and his Incineroar because his dad is a big fan of him.

Masked Royal giving his photo with Masked Royal and his Incineroar picture with the autograped by him, and Clemont and Bonnie appreciated Masked Royal, and they did a Masked Royal pose.

Masked Royal revealed that he likes to challenge Ash and his Litten, but Greninja also wants to challenge Incineroar. Unfortunately, Incineroar refused.
Incineroar only wants to challenge Litten. Ash accepted the Masked Royal Challenge, and Litten was determined to defeat Incineroar.

Clemont will be a referee while Masked Royal and his Incineroar against Ash and Litten. Everyone is cheering for them, especially Litten and Incineroar.

Clemont: "Alright, this is a 1-on-1 battle between Ash's Litten and Masked Royal's Incineroar! Are you guys ready?"

Masked Royal: "Masked Royal, always be ready!"

Ash: "Yeah, me too."

Clemont: "The battle starts now!"

Ash: "Okay, Litten! Use Fire Fang!"

Litten's body becomes surrounded in a light-red aura. The inside of Litten's mouth then becomes covered in flames and it bites toward the Incineroar but.

Masked Royal "Counter with Throat Chop!"

One or both of Incineroar's hands glow purple. It then Punch Litten's Fire Fang and flew to the down to the ground at full force and Litten took damage.

Ash: "Huh!"

Everyone: "Huh!"

Kiawe: "Just like that!"

Serena: "Incineroar seems strong. It isn't Delphox."

Serena's Delphox: "[Phox!]"

Lillie: "Litten, be strong!"

Ash's Pikachu: "[Pika!]"

Serena's Sylveon: [Syl Sylveon!]

Ash's Greninja: "[Ninja!]"

Ash's Litten "[Litten!]"

Ash: "We're not down yet! Use Ember!"

The fur on Litten's back stands on end and turns red, and it fires a small from its mouth at the Incineroar but.

Masked Royal: "It's no use!"

Incineroar uses its belt to fire a small fireball on Ember, and Incineroar blocks it.

Masked Royal: "Now use Cross Chop!"

Incineroar crosses its arms to form an "X" and runs up towards the Litten.

Ash: "[Gasps] Use Flame Charge!"

Litten tried to use his flame charge but failed and was hit by the Incineroar with its crossed arms and pushes Litten back with its hands. Litten managed to land on its feet.

Ash: "Use Flame Charge one more time!"

Litten becomes enveloped in orange flames and try tackles on Incineroar.

Bonnie: "Litten finally learned Flame Charge!"

Sophocles: "The flames are getting bigger!"

Lana: "The simmering's heating up!"

Masked Royal: "Stop it!"

Incineroar grabs the opponent by the neck and its managed to stop the Flame Charge!Eveyrone shocked on Incineroar holding with Litten.

Masked Royal: "Still a long way to go!"

Ash: "We know!"

Masked Royal: "Huh?"

Ash: "Me, Litten, Greninja, Lycanroc, Rowlet and Pikachu, too. We all still have a long way to go, but we're all going to work hard and get strong! What do you say, everybody?"

Ash's pokemon cheered and agreed with their trainer, and Greninja gave them a thumbs up!

Ash: "Hear that, Litten? You're getting stronger right now! Show them how serious you are!"

When Ash started a battle cry, Litten joined the battle cry, and the flame started to emerge around Litten's body, causing the Incineroar to drop Litten and take damage.

Clemont revealed that Litten is evolving. Serena was amazed for the for the first time to see her evolve while covering Flame Much on Litten Body, and Serena's Delphox reminded herself of Fenniken that evolved into Braixen against Aria's Delphox.

Masked Royal was impressed, and he confirmed that part of his plan to evolve Ash's Litten. Litten evolved into Torracat! Eveyrone is amazed at the newly evolved Torracat.

Sophocles: "No way!"

Ash: "Litten evolved!"

Serena: "It reminds me of my Fenniken back against Aria's Delphox, which is now my Delphox."

Rotom Dex: "Let's see into what!"

Rotom Dex:'Torracat. The Fire Cat Pokémon. A Fire type and the evolved form of Litten. When Torracat spits fire, the fiery bell at its throat makes a high-pitched ringing sound.'

Bonnie: "Torracat is so cool! "

Dedenne: "[Dedenne!]"

Ash: "That's awesome, Torracat!"

Ash's Torracat: "[Torracat!]"

Masked Royal: "Nothing boring here. Now, use Darkest Lariat!"

Both of Incineroar's hands become covered in yellow-orange fire. It then starts spinning rapidly while holding out its hands, spinning toward Torracat but.

Ash: "All right, Torracat! Use Flame Charge!"

Torracat becomes enveloped in orange flames and it tackles the Incineroar's Darkest Lariat and it managed stop it.

Serena: "Torracat, keep it up!"

Serena's Delphox: "[Phox!]"

Serena's Sylveon: [Veon Veon!]

Kiawe: "Here we go!"

Lana: "That was a Rolling Boil Charge!"

Mallow: "Not quite. It's Flame Charge."

Ash: "Now, check this out! Once more!"

Torracat becomes enveloped in orange flames and try tackles on Incineroar.

Sophocles: "That's what I call fast!"

Bonnie: "I know right!"

Dedenne: "[Nenne!]"

Masked : "Incineroar, catch it!"

Incineroar tried to catch Torracat, but Torracat managed to counter it and flew back.

Mallow: "What do you know? It dodged!"

Lillie: "It's so fast and keeps getting faster!"

Serena: "That is an effect of the Flame Charge! Whenever Torracat hits the opponent, it becomes faster."

Serena's Delphox: "[Delphox!]"

Ash: "Let's go!"

Torracat continues to use Flame Charge at Incineroar, but.

Masked Royal: "Use Darkest Lariat!"

Both of Incineroar's hands become covered in yellow-orange fire. It then starts spinning rapidly while holding out its hands, spinning into the Torracat's Flame Charge and it bumped it each other and managed to block the Flame Charge. Torracat and Incineroar pull back and Incineroar took damage from Flame Charge attack.

Ash: "You like that?"

Ash's Torracat: "[Roars]"

Masked Royal: "Hot stuff! That was hot, Ash and Torracat! Incineroar, use Bulk Up!"

Incineroar flexes its body and a flame from its fire belt travels upwards over its torso, causing its muscles to thicken, which boosts both its attack power and resistance to physical attacks.

Masked Royal: "Now use Throat Chop!"

Ash: "Torracat, use Flame Charge!"

Incineroar start charge toward Torracat. Torracat becomes enveloped in orange flames and try tackles the Incineroar but One of Incineroar's hands glow purple, Incineroar try block the Torracat's Flame Charge with the side of one of its hands. Eveyrone shocked between Incineroar Throat Chop and Torracat's Flame Charge. Incineroar managed stop Flame Charge and chops the Torracat with the side of one of its hands. Torracat defeated.

Clemont: "Torracat is unable to battle! The winner is Incineroar!"

Everyone was shocked at the Torracat defeat. Ash, Pikachu, Serena, and others rush to Torracat to check its condition. Torracat was fine but injured. Ash amazed the performance battle on his Torracat, and Ash promised Torracat to get stronger. Torracat agreed to get stronger to defeat his arch rival, Ash's Pokemon cheering on Torracat. Masked Royal congratulated Ash and Torracat for their excellent fight, giving them a rematch next time they met, and Ash and Torracat agreed. Masked Royal and Incineroar use their own poses after the battle.

At the night at Professor Kukui's house, Professor Burnet impresses Ash and Serena after they meet the Masked Royal, and Burnet seems sad after she's missed Masked Royal, and she's asked Professor Kukui about Masked Royal. Professor Kukui seems guilty toward Burnet, and he said a lied word to his wife. Torracat seems to lack trust in Kukui.

Ash and Serena went outside the Professor Kukui house to relax before they went to sleep, and after Professor Burnet and Professor Kukui authorized Ash and Serena. Serena started asking Ash about his Torracat while Delphox approached Torracat to give it confidence.

Serena: "Hey Ash."

Ash: "Yeah Serena?"

Serena: "Your Litten, newly evolved Torracat, just reminds me of my Fenniken. Because I was back in Kalos while I was battling Aria's Delphox and Aromatisse against my Fenniken and Pancham."

Ash: "I remember that. Your Fenniken evolved into Braixen, right?"

Serena: "That's right, and your Torracat seems to be next to my Delphox, and it seems my Delphox likes Torracat now."

Ash: "I agree, Serena. Your Delphox is giving Torracat confidence and determination to not give up to defeat Masked Royal's incineroar."

Serena: "And your Greninja also giving confidence on Torracat too."

Ash: "I guess Serena. It looks like we have a bright future, even if we have different goals."

Serena: "Our goal is still the same. To stick together no matter what, and I am not leaving you no matter what. I love you, Ash, and I will follow you no matter what."

Ash: "Serena, you inspire me with everything. A nice girl, resourcefulness, and anything else that you have now. I don't want to leave you now. I want you to stay with me and continue to chase our dream."

Ash and Serena hugged each other and started saying the promise word.

Serena: "Let's do this together as a Pokemon Performer and a Pokemon Master."

Ash: "And, together, we will make our dream a reality."

Ash and Serena's Pokemon started cheering on Ash and Serena to reach their goal.
Ash and Serena see their pokemon happy, and they command all of their pokemon to come and join the hug, and they hug each other.
