- DeathbringerI hugged Leaf tightly. She made it.
I knew I would eventually see Moon return. But if she returned to the world with everyone she knew dead, that would crush her.
I was so thankful she made it. Twelve years is a long time, but it's not hundreds of years.
It was almost like Moon was magnifying danger. Everyone lives peacefully for 12 years and then the week Moon shows up so does Wasp.
I've been tracking Wasp. And letting Lunaria know. I do love that girl so much.
She's like my minion. She will do whatever I want (like pranking Glory) and she is a spitting image of me. Not physically, she actually looks like Glory more than me, but her personality is just like mine.
I'm a proud papa bear.
Wasp is tracking Moon's presence. She can sense that power, and is going off of that. I've tried to throw her off a few times.
Over the years I've learned that Lunaria is the only one who can see me effortlessly, Glory can rarely when I try really hard. And it's only if something important must be said.
But people like animus's or people like Wasp, who can sense magic, or even track, can pick up on a presence. Aka ghost me pretty much haunting them.
It's a similar feeling to Moon's magic which can make her second guess herself. But she is starting to learn how to define my spirit against Moon's magic.
Which is irritating of course. Wasp can't get in to their home though.
I don't think Wasp knows about Moon being alive yet though. I think Wasp thinks that she is tracking Darkstalker, who is no fool and hid his presence years ago.
But Wasp thinks it's him, which gives us the element of surprise.
That doesn't change the fact that Wasp has plans though. Which is how I ended up doing a family meeting with Lunaria and Glory where Lunaria translates everything.
I sat beside Glory in the kitchen as Lunaria paced infornt of us.
"So Aunt Moon is alive again because of a prophecy made by a dead guy who died like a gazillion years ago. And crazy Hivewing lady wants us all dead because Aunt Moon declined the offer of immortality and power and whatever. And Aunt Moon is actually a prophet and can read minds. Which might be a trait Sunset got which is why she got attacked last night." Lunaria summed up.
I nod. "You're just like your mother." I say to her cheekily. "From you, that's a compliment. Don't deny it. And that's off topic. Explain her plans Dad." Lunaria demands.
Ok so five seconds ago I said Lunaria is just like me, not when she's stressedz No no no, when Lunaria is stressed Glory and her should not be in the same room. The levels of sarcasm get to dangerous levels.
"She plans to surround the area. And use her team of immortals to start destroying everything outside which will draw everyone out, and straight into an ambush." I explain.
"That's so fun, super excited to get ambushed. So it's a trap? Because everyone will have to leave the stop them, even though they can't die, but the moment we leave we will be attacked." Lunaria said rubbing her head.
Glory piper up. "Not exactly sure what was said, but from what I heard, sounds like we can't have Darkstalker or Turtle get rid of them because they would have to step outside of the barriers to do that. So we either need to step out and take on the ambush or don't?" Glory suggested.
"Yeah that's about our options right now." Lunaria grumbled. "Well what if we just send out Moon and Qibli? They can sneak out and disable everyone before we all leave?" Glory asks.
