3RD POV

Selin flew away on her magic staff, leaving behind the four in complete silence. Turning around the two boys looked at Zana expectedly. The girl in question was still not over the shock of them being humans. The revelation kept her mind occupied for the majority of the time her captain was with them. Thus, now that they were alone, she couldn't help but feel both excitement and anxiety running through her body.

She was really curious about the human realm. Said feeling only intensified after Severed had spoken so highly of the world he saw in their memories. The clock, a device capable of telling you what the exact time was, has been something that even her generation had problems understanding. When she was little, she remembered the time her grandmother gifted her a golden watch.

Its function was very interesting. But the most intriguing part was that it wasn't a magical item at all, rather a machine that didn't require magic to work. Heck, even after centuries, not many changes have been applied on these watches. They simply use enchanted metal to allow tiny amounts of magic from the world around them, in order to work on their own, without having to be tuned all the time.

This device was brought to their world by a being from another reality. A human. Even though said species did not possess any amount of magic, residing in a manaless earth, they somehow managed to create such extraordinary items. This knowledge gave the girl a sense of comfort, knowing that one didn't have to be powerful to do great things.

She was snapped out of her trance by Nicholas who was repeatedly swinging his hand infront of her face, trying to get her attention. Embarrassment flooded her face as the colour red started becoming a lot more brighter, covering her cheeks.

Hunter: - Oi Bimbo! The hell are you staring at?! Didn't you hear me talking or are you ignoring me on purpose, HUH?!

Zana: - S....Shut up will you! I was just thinking something that's all!

Hunter: - Really?! So what, think you can ignore me that easily?! Who do you think you are?!

Zana: - I am Zana Carus, of the Carus royal family.  I am a member of the Dark Butterflies and second in command of this squad.

The girl exclaimed with pride. Nicholas looked at her, amazed. Hunter just scoffed and turned his head away, being unable to come up with a comeback. Just then Severed latched himself on our protagonist's back and then jumped, landing on top of his head. Said boy was at first terrified of the severed limb, but the soothing sensation of having a palm resting on top of his head was strangely comforting.

Severed: - I apologise for the sudden intrusion of your personal space, but I couldn't help myself. Your hair is soft and fluffy. I hope this doesn't make you uncomfortable.

         Nicholas: - N...no it's ok.

Hunter: - Tch, you're a freak through and through aren't you?! Just when I thought you couldn't get anymore creepier, you HAD to dress up like Tomura fucking Shigaraki!

Severed: - Well, the one you are referring to, is wearing his family's cut-off hands all over him in order to suppress his phycological trauma. Nicholas here is simply letting me stay on top of his head. He isn't doing it to dress up like a psycho villain.

Zana: - Ew! Who would do such a thing?!

Nicholas: - It.... it's not what it sounds like! The one they are referring to is a fictional character, that's all.

         Zana: - Still gross.

Hunter: - How the fuck do you know that you hand bastard?!
