POV: Hunter
Finally after so long the stupid school year is over. Man it was boring as hell! Well apart from the annual sport competition between schools. That was intense! And the best part is that we won the cup this year. Though, now that I think about it, I guess there was something else that made my day every now and then.
My mind went back to the short, dark-haired, ocean blue eyed boy in my class. He's such a quiet and distant individual, always having either a blank or depressed expression on his face. Most if not all of us thought he was a freak.
I don't really know why but every time I saw him, it annoyed me to no end. I'm the richest kid at school, he is either quite poor or he just loves only a certain style in clothing, since it seems like he is wearing the same clothes everyday. I have tons of friends, he's a loner. But, the fact that i heared some girls gush about his beauty is annoying. Not only that, but he's the best student in class.
The teachers may not do anything about the way he's treated, but I can see it in their eyes that they like him far more than me. His art and observational skills are exceptional, it's almost unfair to everyone else. He's a creep, and his art style speaks volumes about that fact, but the images are so well depicted that it could make even Picasso jealous.
And the thing that annoys me the most about him, is the fact that he never seemed to admire or care about me. He was the only one at school who never envied me for my wealth, tried to befriend or get close to me. That's why I cannot stand him at all. Even after everything me and my gang have put him through, he just doesn't try to follow us around or even fight back. WHY?!!? Is he really looking down on me that much?!
Is he really thinking so highly of himself?! Yeah that's probably it. However, the last day of school something seemed to have changed in him. At first i couldn't put my finger on it, but he was unfocused and agitated, instead of his usual apathetic self. He had dark circles under his eyes, his hair was a mess, and he looked like he was gonna drop dead at any moment.
The mere sight of him was unnerving to say the least. Heck, even the teachers didn't try to gain his attention or interact with him, well apart from Ms Luna. And to top all that, when I spoke to him, I expected him to react the same way as he usually did when we interacted. But no, he had the most bored expression I had ever seen. Not only that but he had the audacity to sound irritated because of me and indirectly told me to piss off!!!
I was shocked. Then I was enraged. How dare he speak to me like that?! Does he have a death wish or something?! Thinking somehow he's almighty and powerful?! Hell no, I was not going to let this pass so easily. So after school ended, me and my boys had planned to " teach him a lesson ".
However, to be honest I wasn't really looking forward to it at the time. Well, that is after he created THAT painting. I can say with certainty that this drawing was by far the most beautiful picture I have ever laid my eyes upon. But it was also equally terrifying, to look at what was the depicted upon the canvas.
I still feel the ghosts of the shivers that were running down my spine, the moment i made eye contact with cyan and lime colored irises staring right at my soul. The seer force the drawing held was intense. But how? How could the loser like him be able to create such a masterpiece?! It was infuriating!
Although despite my anger, I believe we went a little too rough on him this time. Leaving him all blooded and battered inside a dark alleyway. But I'm sure he is fine. That annoying creep always finds a way to crawl out of the hole, and go on living.
I was sure that I wouldn't have to see his annoying face from now on, until summer break came to an end. So you can imagine my surprise when I arrived at the entrance of the summer camp, that me and my friends and a bunch of others from my school had planned to go to, and I bumped into none other than Nicholas himself.
