3RD POV

After the events of the previous day, both human boys still remained unsure of their situation. Even now, they still found it hard to believe that they were stranded in an unknown world, which was filled with magic and a bunch of other devious secrets, that were yet to be discovered.

It was fascinating and terrifying at the same time. Meeting some of the residents of the estate, helped Nicholas and Hunter to realize that their species were not so different. They all looked alike, apart from the variety of different colors in hair and eyes, the blue blood, and the ability to use magic.

However, the two human teenagers did not fully trust their new companions. They saved them, yes, they offered them a place to stay and food to eat, but despite all that, the boys felt that it was way too early to actually blindly put their lives in their hands. It would take time.

Now, when it came to the mages, well, that's a different story. Selin had no reason to believe that any of the males would actually do something to harm her or her squad. Aside from Hunter's ill temper, he posed no significant threat to any of them. Plus, being a very good judge of character herself, she knew when someone possessed any ill intent, something that neither of the kids did.

Zana is both curious and skeptical about the foreigners. She was raised to believe that the humans were the catalyst that caused the Great War. But she also knows that humans are capable of creating things that no mage can ever hope to do. One of them being the clock. So simple, yet so fascinating. A lot of people think they are evil, but Zana can now say that's not the case.

Severed is completely overwhelmed with all the new information. Having scanned both humans's brains, he was exposed to a world beyond his wildest imagination. A world so very different from their own. A place unique and extraordinary. And if everything he saw was true, then humans were far superior race to mage kind. Their inventing and innovating skills were on whole other level. However, he was also quite saddened and disturbed by what he witnessed in both their memories.

Apparently, humans and mages were a lot alike when it came to violence. He saw horrible things happen to the boys, as well as the history behind their relationship. Severed, despite wanting to help, he chose not to bring anything up or confront the teenagers, since it was not his business. Though, he did make a mental note to be careful in his approach with the boys.

Kenju, well....he was just Kenju. He had nothing against Hunter, since he accepted and drank the coffee he offered him. Though when it came to Nicholas, that was another story. Kenju had positively become obsessed with the youngster, believing him to be his one and only friend, after the events of the previous day. This, of course, became painfully clear the very next morning...

As the two moons, (yes, there are two moons), started giving their place to the rising sun, and the dark blue night sky was beginning to obtain a beautiful orange and cyan colour, the morning sun rays slipped through the glass windows of the estate, gently trying to wake the residents up.

Nicholas laid there, encased in a warm cocoon made out of blankets, with a soft expression on his face. The healing forcefield around them was doing wonders with their injuries, repairing the damages on the body, while also offering release from any pain. Selin had brought them a new plant, since apparently it only lasted a few hours, and therefore, had to be replaced.

At first, both boys were quite amazed with the flowers healing capabilities. However, the awe they felt quickly turned to worry and a little discomfort, once the female dark mage explained to them, how it truly functioned. Apparently, a sorcerer had to give a considerable amount of their blood, in order for the plant to create the barrier.
