"What's going on here?"

It was Xu Xinyi.

The crowd immediately made way for her as she strode herself towards them. She frowned when she saw Chen Wei.

"I said what's going on here?" She repeated. "And why are you gathering here? What's this? Surrounding someone? Chen Wei, what are you thinking again? I think you should stop your stupid acts today."

Chen Wei was angry. "I'm not stupid! Why are you saying that to me when I passed the audition?!" He sneers. "You should say that to someone who got a red card, right? If I were him, I'd only accept having not passed for voting rather than receiving a direct elimination."

"Oh." Xu Xinyi's brow raise. "So you're getting arrogant because you passed? Don't think too highly of yourself after you receive votes. 150 votes over 200, it was high... but, we already knew why they voted for you, right?"

Chen Wei's face blush in anger and embarrassment. It's true. He got 150 votes because he's the younger brother of the President of Dream Star. Even if he's most likely still passing, getting that high votes is really too much and too deliberate.

He frowned. He should have calculated the number of his votes instead.

"Chen Wei, don't think too highly of yourself. Enough with those stupid thoughts. You have to behave yourself or your brother will speak to you."

Chen Wei was even angrier. "That's it! Why do you keep on mentioning my brother? You're just being arrogant because you seduced my brother! What are you if you're not with him?!"

Xu Xinyi's face turned black. "Heh? What am I?" Her voice sounds so menacing that Chen Wei's arrogance quickly reduces and his face turns pale.

"I-I—"

"That's it." Xu Xinyi exhales a loud breath and looks at everyone. "What are you still doing here?! For all who pass, quickly go inside! As for those who were not, you can leave immediately!"

"Yes!" Everyone was quick to disperse and Qin An was grabbed by Li Bai away from them.

Xu Xinyi looked at the young man's back. Her eyes flash in a second before she looks away and turns as if nothing happened.

"Here, Brother Qin. You can take a rest here in my apartment. Don't worry about using my things. It's all clean because I got to this place not long ago and haven't used it much. You can rest assured." Li Bai happily tours him around the house. Qin An just casually looks at his surroundings before turning back to the latter.

Li Bai's face became nervous again. Qin An sigh in his heart. Even though he's the real older, why is this kid so afraid of him all the time? He was 'younger', right? And almost no one was afraid of him anymore, especially at the audition earlier. Why did this kid not change?

Was he supposed to get angry or even regret that he asked someone like him?

"Brother Qin, please don't worry about what happened. It's alright. We can still have a chance, okay? If you're not comfortable about taking track as an idol or actor, why don't we try becoming a model instead? That was much easier than that, right? I think you'll be very suitable for that!" Li Bai happily recommended it.

He pauses for a second before saying his request. "I want to look for more films and performances of other people."

"Oh? O-Okay!" Li Bai nodded at him. Since Qin An doesn't have mental power, he cannot enter his brain frequently because he cannot control it too much. He was just lucky earlier to see his basic information but aside from that, he was having a hard time connecting with his brain again.
