Chapter 51: The Evil Ghost
Everyone quickly squirm around the young man and they carefully transfer him to a private room. After observing his condition again and finally confirming that the young man is safe and healthy, everyone was shocked by how fast things happened today.
"What the hell is going on?" Cheng Yu couldn't help but curse under his gentle face. It's rare for the Head Doctor who's known for being friendly, frowning and quite irritated.
"What about the sphere?" Professor Liang asked but Hong Xinan shook his head.
"Professor, we already sent it to your laboratory but they said that the results are very ordinary. The sphere is really just a normal stone. The carvings also faded so aside from the previous files that had been saved, there's no other information about it anymore."
Professor Liang's face turns bitter after knowing that a very important piece of data is gone. How could they study further if the solid evidence is no longer here?!
He looks at Qin An with a strange light and the others immediately notice it.
Ji Wei cleared his throat. "Professor, you definitely couldn't detain the young man for an experiment. Besides, he's still a minor."
That made the old man's face turn darker and he scoffed. "Hmph! I know! But I want to talk to him when he wakes up."
It's a simple matter and they also want to talk to Qin An so He Li agrees, yet just as they want to continue the conversation, the young man laying on the bed abruptly opens his eyes and sits up straight.
"!!!" Everyone was startled when they saw he's awake and some even subconsciously took a step back.
"S-Student Qin?" A nurse consciously called his name but Qin An didn't seem to hear him. The young man lowered his head and looked at his hands. He looked at his palm as he close-open it repeatedly and he even put his hand on the side of his neck as if he was feeling the warmth of his skin, the blood flowing inside and the slight pulsating of his heart beat.
"Student Qin?" Cheng Yu called and only Qin An seemed to notice them. The young man slowly raised his head and they unconsciously held their breath especially when they met his eyes.
It's no longer a pair of pure dark orbs, instead Qin An's dark orbs now had a faint of glistening gold as if the runes that were once on his body are now carved on his eyes. It added another layer of elegance and mystery of the young man. Sitting here around them makes it seem like he's out of place and distant. Qin An's temperament really looks oddly distant and sharp that anyone is very hesitant on getting close to him because it seems that the young man would leave without looking back or even saying goodbye.
Rather than seeing him leaving, it's better to just look at him from afar so he wouldn't be bothered and will continue staying. As if an ancient sword wandering around the unfamiliar weapons on interstellar which is not fitted to be. He looks very unsuitable in this place. Now, he looks like a sword finally found its sheath. He finally saw a resting place where he cannot be bothered by the fact that he's the only difference among the powerful weapons in this era.
Looking unsuitable but giving a smooth elegance and sharpness when needed.
After all, even if it's an ancient old thing, a sword can still hurt anyone as long as it sharpens dangerously.
Everyone inside the room feels as if time has stopped and they could only stare at the young man in front of them. Only when they saw Qin An tried to get out of the bed did they come back to their senses.
"Student Qin, your condition just became stable. You need to be further examined." Cheng Yu said and they tried to stop him but the young man shook his head and his face turned solemn.
