I'm really very sorry about this, but I've made the decision to discontinue this story.
I don't like it, it's poorly written, and I haven't actually had the motivation to write it for a really long time. Every page has felt forced, and I don't want to write like that.
It's not easy for me to give up on something that I've been working on for the last three years, but I literally cannot continue it. If someone wants to adopt it, that's fine by me, but I don't see that happening.
The rest of the story was supposed to be about Bucky finding peace with being one with the Winter Soldier, as well as Steve and Bucky navigating a way to a more healthy relationship- because you're all correct: I made Steve crazy toxic. I just can't write that.
I may pick this story up again or rewrite it at some point, but for now, this is the end.
