Madelyn pov
Saturday mornings are always pretty quiet. My parents are hardly ever home because of their job. At least that's their excuse. That's why, most weekend mornings, I end up at the Walter's.
As I walked into the kitchen, I noticed an odd amount of silence in the room. It was Lee,jordan, issac, and alex.
I awkwardly walk in, shutting the door behind me. "Good morning." I say quietly. They all greet me with smiles or head nods.
I ignore how weird their being and go to grab cereal from the pantry. This is basically my second house, so this is pretty normal for me. I've been doing this since forever.
Alex watched me sternly as I poured the cereal into the bowl. Fucking creep. I don't mind it much until I can practically feel his gaze burning into me as I pour the milk.
"Can you stop fucking starring at me?" I scold as I break the silence. All the boys turn to look at us.
"Why do you always have to eat here?" Alex complains.
" You're eating my fucking fruit loops" he whines.
"And they're fucking delicious" I say as I take a big spoonful of fruit loops and shove them in my mouth. He flips me off as I give him a fake smile.
I put the box and milk away before going to sit down near Lee. A couple minutes later, Nathan walks in.
"Hey Maddy," he says as he walks in. I wave at him and continue to eat. As Nathan pours himself a bowl of cereal, Jackie opens the side door.
"Good morning." She says sweetly.
"Morning," I reply back. But no one else says anything. I look at Lee confused.
Jackie walks over to where Nathan is standing.
"Come on, guys." Nathan asks the boys.
"Wait, is everyone mad at me?" Jackie asks as she pours a glass of orange juice. I'm so confused. Why are we mad?
" Well, you did press the nuclear snitch button" Nathan explains.
"They're mad at Alex too, but they'll get over it." Nathan reassures.
I decide to finally bud in. " Can someone please explain?" I ask.
"I'll tell you later," Lee whispers over to me. I nod.
Not even a second later, Katherine waltzs in. "Good morning, girls," she greets.
"Your hair looks amazing," Katherine compliments. Oh, she fixed her hair. I didn't even notice. Jackie thanks her as Katherine rambles on about there not being anymore pranks.
"So I'm guessing you saw the video," Jackie asks as her face scrunched up.
"I did. And Issac will be paying for your hair dye out of his allowance. " I can feel the tension as Katherine said that. "Also him and Cole owe you an apology."
Katherine stood there, peeling an apple waiting for Issac to apologize. She whipped her head around to give Issac the look. "Issac," she scolds.
"I'm sorry, Jackie," he says, sounding sincere.
"That's ok," Jackie replies slowly. As soon as Katherine turns around, Issac shrugs his shoulders and fake smiles.
Jackie took a deep breath. I could tell he was getting on her nerves, so I kicked him under the table. He jumped and then glared at me like usual.
"I've been thinking since there are now two girls in the house. The downstairs bathroom is just for Parker and Jackie. "
"Wait, what about Benny?" Jordan jumps in.
