Madelyn Evans has been neighbors with the Walter's for as long as she can remember. A couple of years ago, the Garcia boys moved in with the Walter's. Instantly, Lee and her clicked, but Issac not so much.
Homecoming is a big deal around here. Everyone in town comes to the pep rallies and football games.
Ever since middle school, katy,leece, and I have had a huge sleepover before the big day. This year, it's my turn to host the annual sleepover.
I stood near the front door waiting. A couple minutes pass by when I finally hear a knock. I opened the door to see Katy and Leece standing there with their bags.
"Hey," I greet as I shut the door behind us.
"Hey, are your parents home?" I get asked as we make our way up to my room.
"No, they're in London right now." I say as we pause outside of my room.
"What do your parents even do?" katy asks as she opens the door and lets us in.
Leece throws her bag on the floor as she flops onto my bed. I sit at my desk as katy lays down on my big ass bean bag chair.
"Honestly, I have no idea. I think they're lawyers. I don't know, " I shrug.
"Well, if you ever need company, call us," Leece offers.
"Yeah, we're basically sisters at this point," katy points out. I nod and smile at the girls in front of me.
"Okay, what should we do?" I ask eagerly. We jump on the bed to brainstorm. We sit on my bed covered in blankets on pintrest, looking for ideas.
"Uhhh, we can go in the pool," Leece suggests, looking up from her phone. That's sounds good.
"Ooo yeah, and we can make bracelets," katy also suggests. We nod in agreement as we roll off the bed to get into our bathing suits.
"I'll bring the towels,katy bring snacks, and maddy bring the bracelet stuff," leece orders as we sit in my room, putting sunscreen on. As much as I love being tan, I hate peeling.
After we gathered the stuff we needed, we walked down to the pool.
