Third pov
"So what's up with you and maddy garcia," leece says, sternly eyeing down Issac.
The group of friends were on the way to the bonfire. Lee,issac, and leece were sat in the back. Katy was the designated driver, and Josh occupied the passenger seat.
The whole ride was obnoxiously quiet except when it was interrupted.
"Nothing," he scoffed.
"Mhm okay than why were you so bothered when she said Jacob was taking her." The blonde girl questions.
He wasn't bothered. He just thought it would be nice if they went together. But of course Prince Charming asked her before he had.
He closed his eyes for a minute before answering. " I'm not bothered leece. She can do whatever she wants with her dam life."he paused. "I. Don't. Give. A. Fuck." He slowly said to get his point across.
He instantly felt bad for what he said and muttered, sorry.
Leecey put a comforting hand on his shoulder. "Talk to her."
"What?"
She sighed at how oblivious the boy was being. "Go fucking talk to her." She frustratingly pushed his shoulder.
He shook his head no. "Why?"
Lee joined into the conversation. "Because you're trying to act all cool and shit but it's actually bothering you for some dam reason." He lectured his brother.
He knew Issac was stubborn, so it was extra hard getting through to him. "Man the fuck up and talk to her when we get there."
"But you better not ruin anything either. I love you both equally, and I don't want to see anyone hurt." He points a finger in front of his brother.
Issac sighs in defeat as he slumps into his seat. "Fine, but you better not bring this up ever again," he spit.
Leece and Lee giggled like little girls as they high fived and celebrated.
The ride had finally ended as they pulled up to the place. The sun had finally set, and it was starting to get darker.
Issac pov
"Can someone text maddy and ask if she's here?" Katy asks as we get out of the car.
Josh nods as we walk to where everyone is. I grab a drink and sit next to Nathan.
He's telling Kylie and me about his problems with Skylar.
"Do you think he's listened to the song yet. Should I ask him? Do you think I should ask him?" He rambles.
"Dude, just chill. If you're really into him, you need to plant the seed. And let him come to you. Yeah, " I tell him. I look around to see Skylar, Lee, Josh, Grace, leece, and katy close by talking.
I have a plan. I go to get up but get stopped by Nathan. "What are you doing?" He asked, panicked.
"Planting the seed ," I smile as I walk over to our friends.
Nathan quickly follows behind me, probably not wanting me to do something stupid.
"Hi," I greet as I smile stupidly at Nathan. Everyone exchanges awkward hellos.
"You care if we join you?" I ask, smiling as Nathan glared at me. Out of the corner of my eye, I could see Kylie putting a hand over her mouth, trying not to laugh.
No one else said anything. Man, this is going to be a long night.
We make small talk until a tipsy Madelyn interrupts us. "Hey," she says in a bubbly tone.
She leans her head on my arm. "What's got you all happy Evans?" I ask with a smile as I look down at her.
Her beanie hung barely over her eyes with a couple of stray hairs peaked out. She had herself wrapped in a jacket that was way too big and engulfed her.
The way the cold brushed her face, leaving her nose and cheeks, a rose tinted color did something to me.
Her soft voice pulled me out of my thoughts. "Nothing," she said in a sing songy voice.
I pulled the beanie over her eyes and shoved her with my shoulder a bit. "You're fun to mess with Evans."
She stands next to me again with her hand deep in her coat pockets. "Oh, is that right, garcia?" She teases.
"Yes, yes, it is maddy poo." I enjoy the confused look on her face.
She side eyes me and crosses her arms. "What the heck did you just call me?" She questioned.
I just laughed. "Maddy poo."
"No. Nope. I don't like that." She tells me with a scowl.
"Oh, ok. What if I shorten it to poo? Does that make it better?"
"No, it does not." She says, nudging me with her elbow.
"Don't be such a buzz kill poo." I nudge her back. She tries to keep a straight face but ends up laughing.
She gasps loudly as her hand flings over her chest. "I can not believe you just called me a buzz kill."
"I'm the best person alive. Right next to the pope, Albert Einstein, and fucking Abraham Lincoln."
"Your an idiot" I playfully roll my eyes at her.
"Who wants to play beer pong?" We hear Kylie ask.
Maddys head whips into my direction." Ooo me. How's your aim?" She questions as she jumps up.
"Better than yours," I taunt.
"You're on garcia."
"Whatever you say, Evans." She cutely jogs off.
I walk over to Nathan to gloat. "Told ya," I say as I go to follow her.
