Taehyung's point of view

The next couple of days after dealing with Jimin's nonsense, finally, that guy stopped bothering me. Honestly, I let out a huge sigh of relief because dealing with drama is just not my thing. So, there I was, chilling at the cafeteria with my buddies. The vibe was nice, you know, just basking in the joy of not having Jimin around.

Me and my friends at the table, just shooting the breeze, when JK – the party instigator – decides that today is the day we throw down and host a party. I was like, “Yeah, why not,” and Jin – always the one with the bold statements – chimed in with the classic, “All the hot chicks are coming.” Talk about setting the scene for some epic shindig, right?

Now, here’s the kicker – we invited basically all the cool kids from school. And to top it off, we lucked out with some classes being canceled for the afternoon session that day. So, early release for the win! We scrambled to get everything ready for the party, and let me tell you, I was feeling the nerves. It was my first time hosting a bash, so the pressure was real.

As the clock ticked, people started trickling in – the anticipation was building up. And then, in walks Kai and Chaneyol, My best buds from a different school. The music was already pumping, the energy was high, and the party was in full swing. But amidst all the excitement, I couldn’t shake off the nerves about whether Jennie, the one I had been hoping would show up, would actually make it.

And guess what? Cue the heart-flutters, because Jennie strutted in looking like an absolute queen. She greeted me with a shy “Hey,” and man, my heart skipped a beat. “Hey, Jennie,” I managed to get out, feeling all awkward and flustered because, come on, have you seen her? She’s legit stunning.

Jennie, being all sweet and charming, blushed at my compliment and thanked me. Then she dropped the bombshell – she had been trying to get in touch with me for days but couldn’t reach me. And here I was, ready with my apologetic explanation. “Umm, dad grounded me for flunking math,” I confessed, feeling like a complete doofus. And just as I was about to spill the rest of the story,  Jin suddenly came and dragged us to the center, I couldn't help but exchange confused glances with Jungkook. "What's going on?" I asked, my curiosity piqued. Kai chimed in, teasing me about not having any fun and suggesting we play Truth or Dare. Reluctantly, I nodded, not wanting to be the party pooper.

The game started off with silly questions and dares, nothing too out of the ordinary. But then, the bottle stopped at Jennie, and I noticed the nervous look on her face. Jin, always the mischievous one, posed the ultimate question, "Truth or dare?" Jennie hesitated, then stammered, "T-truth."

Jin's question about having a two-timing relationship caught everyone off guard. Kai even choked on his beer, quickly making his exit with an excuse of not feeling well. Jennie's response surprised us all as she denied ever being in a relationship, sharing that I was actually the first boy she had ever talked to. I couldn't help but coo at her innocence, feeling a sense of protectiveness wash over me.

"Aww, she's so cute," Lisa commented, while J-Hope chimed in, agreeing that we must protect her at all costs. The game continued, with J-Hope performing body shots on Lisa for his dare, causing us all to holler with laughter.

Finally, it was my turn. Lisa challenged me to choose between truth or dare, and without hesitation, I opted for dare. My heart raced with anticipation as I wondered what she had in store for me.

In Jin's mischievous eyes, I could see the gleam of amusement as he contemplated my dare. "I dare you to serenade Jennie with a love song," Lisa announced with a smirk, causing a chorus of cheers and teasing from the group.

As I gathered my thoughts, I locked eyes with Jennie, who looked both surprised and intrigued. Taking a deep breath, I started singing a sweet melody, pouring my emotions into the music. Jennie's expression softened, and a smile tugged at the corners of her lips, making my heart skip a beat.
