As I awoke, a throbbing headache pulsed through my skull, causing waves of nausea to wash over me. I stumbled to the bathroom and caught a glimpse of my disheveled reflection, smeared makeup and all. Hastily, I washed my face before heading downstairs to find my mother already seated at the dining table, her concerned eyes fixed on me.

"Jiminah, are you feeling alright? You looked quite intoxicated last night," my mother remarked. I tried to recall the events of the previous night, but my memory failed me.

"Mom, I didn't have any alcohol. I only had a fruit cocktail," I explained. Despite my protests, my mother reassured me that it was okay if I had chosen to indulge in some alcohol.

Realizing it was getting late for school, I quickly finished my breakfast and hurried out the door. Upon reaching my classroom, I noticed Taehyung sitting in his old spot. Ignoring his presence, I took my seat only to be approached by WonYoung. Concern written all over her face, she remarked,

Wonyoung: "Jimin, you okay? You seemed pretty out of it yesterday."
She was gently tucking a strand of hair behind her ear, trying to act cute.

Trying to clear up the misunderstanding, I insisted, "I didn't drink any alcohol, I swear!"

I sighed again and continued

Me: "I'm good. What even happened yesterday?"

Wonyoung: "You seriously don't remember anything?"

She did this adorable little pout.

Me: "Nah, I just remember coming to party, but then that funky cocktail from the bartender messed me up."

Wonyoung: "You were so wild! We had a blast though."

As more students filed in, San stopped by our desk.

San: "Jimin, you were awesome last night. Didn't know you could dance like that! You both really rocked the party."

He winked at me and walked off, leaving Wonyoung blushing.

Afternoon me and my crew were chilling at the cafeteria, munching on our food as usual. But something was off. Taehyung was keeping his distance from me for some reason, and Wonyoung was clinging to me like there was no tomorrow. The girl even ditched her own friends just to plop herself next to me at lunch.

And then, out of nowhere, Rosé gasped, her eyes glued to her phone screen. "Ahhh!!!" she shrieked. "Jimin, what the heck is this?" Before I knew it, she was shoving her phone in my face, showing me some video that had her all worked up.

I reluctantly pressed play, and my jaw hit the floor. It was a video of me and Wonyoung dancing together, like, really close. We were swaying and grooving like we were a couple or something. And get this, I even tried to plant a few smooches on her, but they all landed on her cheek instead.

Yoongi didn't waste a second. He snatched the phone from my grip, and Namjoon peered over his shoulder to watch. After the video ended, they both shot me with this disappointed look that cut through me like a knife.

I quickly tried to defend myself, blurting out, "Guys, I swear I have no memory of what went down yesterday! It was all a blur. I just wanted a dang fruit cocktail, but that bartender messed up my order or something." But Rosé wasn't having any of it. "Stop talking BS, Jimin," she snapped, her eyes blazing with accusations. She grabbed her lunch and left our table all of a sudden, leaving me puzzled and slightly panicking. As I looked around the table at my friends, confusion evident on my face, I blurted out, "What the... guys, please believe me, I swear!"

Yoongi, always the calm and collected one, looked at me with a reassuring expression and said, "There's no need to worry, Jimin. We're all adults here, we can date whoever we want. Wonyoung is pretty and studies hard. She seems like the perfect match for you. But, we're a bit disappointed with your behavior. You should have at least some decorum. What if this video ends up on the internet, huh? You know Our digital footprint will haunt us forever. We have high goals in our lives, remember?"
