I’m feeling so messed up right now. I can't even think about facing Jimin after what happened. Like seriously, what even possessed me to do that? I must be out of my mind, or maybe it was just the alcohol playing tricks on me. I found myself drowning my sorrows in drinks at some bar earlier.
And now, I wake up in Jungkook’s room! How on earth did I end up here? I stumble downstairs and come face to face with Mrs. Jeon, who’s all smiles seeing me after a long time.
"Oh, Taehyung-ah, I'm so glad to see you, dear. How have your parents been?" she asks while rummaging through her bag.
"They're good, Omma. Where's Kookie?" I inquire, looking around.
"He went to the grocery store," she responds casually, then her phone starts buzzing like crazy. She answers it in a rush, telling the person on the other end she’s on her way. She quickly bids me farewell, mentioning she has a meeting at the Mayor's office.
As soon as she’s out the door, Jungkook arrives. But instead of his usual easy-going self, he’s got this serious look on his face. He tosses me a banana milk and goes, "We need to talk, Taehyung."
I raise an eyebrow, not sure what to expect. "What's up? It’s kinda funny seeing you try to act all serious, man," I quip, taking a sip of the banana milk.
Jungkook flopped down next to me, casually slurping on his banana milk. He turned to me with a serious expression and said, "Look, Taehyung. I saw you at the bar yesterday, man. You looked like you were going through some stuff. Just remember, I'm here if you ever need to talk about anything."
I was taken aback by his unexpected concern. We usually just joke around and talk about girls, never really diving into deep discussions. I hesitated for a moment before finally speaking up, "Okay, Jungkook. Promise me you won't judge me, okay?"
Jungkook looked me in the eye and replied, "I will never judge you, bro. You can trust me."
Feeling a mix of guilt and shame, I mustered up the courage to confess, "Okay, listen. Remember that party at Wonyoung's house? I was really drunk and did something... inappropriate to someone. Now I just feel like a total monster. I hate myself for it."
Jungkook's reaction was a simple "Oh," but his eyes showed genuine concern. I could sense his disappointment, and I felt even worse. "I know you probably hate me now," I continued, "but I honestly don't know what got into me that night."
Jungkook shook his head and said, "Tae, I told you I won't judge or hate you. But what you did was really messed up. Do you mind telling me who the girl was?"
I hesitated, not sure if I was ready to reveal that detail. "I... I can't say," I admitted.
Jungkook nodded thoughtfully before offering some advice, "First, try to reach out to her and see if she's willing to talk to you. It's important to take responsibility for your actions and try to make things right."
I hesitated for a moment but nodded
Jungkook: Alright, call her now.
He encouraged me as I hesitantly got up and dialed Jimin's number. My fingers were trembling as I hesitated to press the call button. After taking a deep breath, I finally made the call.
"It's switched off," I murmured, feeling a bit defeated as I looked over at Jungkook.
Jungkook asked, "What happened?"
