"Well that was an eventful morning" Avery said as we piled into the elevator.
"Yeah, I can't believe I actually made age groups for the 200 breast. Coach Will was really weird when I got back." I said pressing the button for floor three while Caroline pressed the button for floor two.
"I made the 50 and 100 backstroke." Caroline said
"Didn't you make the 100 free too?" Sydney asked Caroline
"Oh yeah!" Caroline said laughing "but I like backstroke more."
"Bye guys!" Lara said as the elevator opened and she attempted to give us all hugs.
"You will see them in 20 minutes and we can face time them in their room!" Olivia said pulling her away as the levant or door slid shut.
"Classic Lara." Claire said and we all laughed.
"I can face time Olivia." Chloe said taking out her phone.
"Hey guys!" Caroline said picking up the call.
"Hey Caroline! Where is everyone else?" I asked looking around the room Caroline was in.
"They ditched me for the ice machine. You know how Lara likes to eat ice cubes. Anna told me to text her if she ate more then five a day." Caroline said laughing as the door in her room swung open.
"Ice cubes!" Lara said skipping into the room with Sydney and Olivia following behind, less enthusiastically.
"Cool, we should probably pack while we talk though, because we only have 15 minutes to get down to the bus." I said propping up the phone on one of our bedside tables.
"Wait so who is going to age groups?" Olivia asked.
"I think just me, Caroline and Jessica right?" Sydney said while folding laundry into her suitcase.
"Yep. I'm not that upset about not making age groups because I am only 11 so I wouldn't even be in the same session as you guys, also I have plenty of time to make it." Avery said shrugging.
"You guys were all really close." I said feeling a little bad.
"Yeah, I am gonna train really hard for next year because I wanna make it before I go to high school." Chloe said
"Five minutes guys." Lara said checking her phone.
"Everyone knows five minutes actually means three so we should hurry." Claire said
"I'm all packed." Lara said bouncing up and down in the chair she had thrown herself into.
"We know Lara, you told us the whole story twice." Caroline said. According to Lara she had woken up in the middle of the night and felt like packing her suitcase, so she did.
"I still don't know why you would choose to pack your suitcase, when you wake up in the, idle of the night." Olivia said shaking her head.
"Yeah yeah yeah, I'm weird, now come on or we will be late!" Lara said hanging up the call. After that we could hear them in the hall.
"We better go too or Lara will get us." I said running to the door awkwardly because I was carrying my suitcase.
"Road trip!" Claire said as she walked out the door.
