Twelve - Dances, Dresses, and Dramatizations PART II

"Should I wear makeup?" Sydney asked looking at her face in the mirror again contemplating whether or not to put makeup on.

"No! Your perfect just the way you are" I said giving her a hug, although it was awkward because o was behind her and there was a chair between us.

"And when you smile!!!" Avery sang putting her earrings in.

"I hate that song." Olivia said.

"Hater," Caroline said sticking her tongue out. "Just kidding I still love you!" She said wrapping her arms tightly
around Olivia.

"Okay how do I look?" Chloe asked coming out of the bathroom in the dress her grandma had bought her in New York.

"Gorgeous." I said in a New Jersey accent.

Everyone laughed at that.

"Okay is everyone ready?" Lara asked, she was really excited and wanted to get there as soon as possible.

"Calm down Lara, we aren't going to be late." Chloe said laughing.

"Have fun girls!" Olivia's mom said as we hopped out of the car and she drove away.

"Okay bye mom!" Olivia said shooing her mom away.

"Come on!" Lara said trying to run but her shoe came off in the process. She kept running. Classic Lara.

"Hey Cinderella! You dropped your shoe." I said waving Lara's flat in the air.

"You guys are insane." Avery said shaking her head.

"Oh. My. God. Hide me!!" Caroline said as Sam got out of his car with a bunch of his idiotic friends.

"Didn't he ask Chelsea to the dance? Like 10 minutes after he asked you?" Sydney asked.

"It was more like two hours later but yes, yes he did." Chloe said matter-o-factly.

"Can we go in now?" Lara asked. She had been waiting at the door for the rest of us to finally get to the door. I gave her the shoe and she put it on.

"Calm yourself." Chloe said opening the door for everyone.

"Thank you." I said as I stepped inside.

"It's so pretty!" Avery said looking at the decorations.

"Not as pretty as the eight of us standing here." Olivia said laughing.

"Your so cute!" I said pinching Olivia's cheek.

"Don't do that." Olivia said pulling my hand away, and then giving me a hug.

"Let's go have some fun!" Claire said running into a huge crowd of people compelling the rest of us to follow.

"Jess.....Jess.....Jessica." Lara said poking me repetitively.

"What do you want?" I groaned cracking open one eye. I had been fast asleep and it was two in the morning.

"I can't sleep." She said as I got up to sit upright.

"Why?" I asked "I can tell your thinking about something." I said squeezing her arm.

"What is gonna happen when you Caroline, Sydney and Chloe go to high school? It's not the same without you guys." She said anxiously.

"Well, I don't think we will ever stop being friends. We aren't gonna be here forever Lara. But I think you will do just fine when we're not here. You just have to keep going despite all of the doubt that people show."

YAYYY!! IM DONE!! I am so sorry for the long wait I was actually pretty busy with summer reading and friends. I also had a huge case of writers block so we will blame it on that. Enough excuses! I know it was short but it was pretty good right???

The funny things was I was writing this and I realized it would make the perfect ending, but fear not! I will not end it here. I'm not sure how it will continue but I will be seeking inspiration everywhere!!! Thanks for reading! Vote, comment, and follow meeee!!! Love y'all!💋💋💋
