critically ranking bfdi episodes

bfdi 5 - bridges from temu

bfdi 5 atleast from my perspective seems to be one of the most dividing episodes of bfdi. either you thinks its pretty great and still holds up pretty good or you think its pretty mediocre if not bad. 

i personally lean towards the latter 

and really im not surprised, this one of the shortest if not shortest episode of bfdi, and really the only thing its remembered for is its pen island joke which even then isnt as connected to this episode. 

so really it comes down to either you prefer the fast paced style of episodes or a more slow driven episode .

other than all of that the animation here has still improved aswell as the voice acting with no real "bad" parts that i'd say drag it down. 

the episode starts out with needys cake from the last episode becoming a sun and making a windstorm, storm across goiky. 

this whole first segment isnt really that funny and just really comes down to if you like hearing people call needle needy which was never really that funny for me atleast.

needle pops the cake and we move onto cake at stake, nothing really interesting happens unless you like woody, where he is eliminated this episode. 

i mean yeah, its deserved. pin in bfdi atleast for me was pretty cool, you know her being all tough and taking no ones shit and woody is boring across all seasons. moving on.

oh yeah this is the first episode to show the actual TLC and it pretty much lives up to its name being seriously cramped, i mean thats a positive. 

the episodes challenge is whoever crosses the bridge wins, a pretty boring challenge concept.

honestly these challenges can ever make or break the episode as its what the majority of the episode is about, for example bfdi 3 sucked but bfdi 4 was atleast decent.

so yeah this episode is more of just people standing around in a grass field and occasionally something interesting happens, like snowball yeeting half his team and destroying both bridges. 

the bridges completely fall apart due to budget cuts so the episode just reuses bfdi 4's ending and calls it a day.

honestly another pretty cop out ending to a pretty bad episode honestly.

nothing really here was that laugh out loud funny  and i think the creators were mainly banking on the comedy of the episode to carry it.

like yeah there is some funny moments but they cant carry an already bad episode.

so in summary this episode is short and pretty bad, maybe because of the pacing, maybe because the challenge was dumb and maybe because of the jokes, i think its a good combination of all of them (or would it be a bad combination?)

anyways episodes the worst one yet 4/10 maybe even lower.
