critically ranking bfdi episodes

bfdi 21 - jump away from flower

so yeah bfdi 21 infamous for its flower rejoin and introduction of yoyle cake. 

basically nothing else, nothing really ground-breaking happens here but it just goes to show how close we are to the end.

i mean at this point  basically nearly all episodes are overshadowed by the finale, kind of like the first four episodes, the final four are both overshadowed by the beginning and end kind of poetic.

so the episode starts out with the contestants wanting to leave space and hold up, really?

space is such a cool setting, if jacknjellify ever want to make a season 6, it should be in space. so many concepts and cool challenge ideas that are possible, but thats just me. 

anyways the rocket ship doesn't have fuel, and it runs on yellow, big, spongy, contestants. 

so the cast of bfdi murder spongy for fuel, even his only friend rocky damn. fake friends out here.

sets up the plot of this episode. have to deduct points because of its space hate but i add points for spongy hate, amirite or am i right?

so yeah the eliminated cast votes on who goes, spongy, ice cube, firey and rocky. 

weirdly rocky gets 0 votes, despite being a joke character and spongy gets one from pin whos just salty spongy was already eliminated but at this point if i was spongy id rather be eliminated than stick around to be brutally bullied by everyone around me.

it weirdly comes down to firey and ice cube, where firey actually gets 4 votes crazy.

anyways tlc too hot, true L to ice cube fans all across the globe. and yeah its pretty obvious the only reason the creators did this whole elimination thing is that they could get out ice cube.

they definitely hated ice cube at this point, she barely got any lines and when she did they were just reused ones and the fact she was up for elimination nearly every single episode and still survived, probably meant that the only way to get er out was to just do it yourself.

anyways im going to summarise the bulk of the episode aka the rejoin soo lets get started.

snowball is the first one out with 8 votes ha ha L, pin and gb both got 13 votes not enough and woody somehow got 29 votes to rejoin with blocky only getting 24 causing blocky to lash out on woody. 

eraser and pen get the same amount of votes with 32 and both get out but not before pen is put in crippling debt ( alight reference ) tennisball and david also get the same amount with 41 votes and match the loser she is doesnt match with anyone and only gets 35 votes.

not even with her best friend who only got 60 votes to rejoin, this is pencil btw.

flower, teardrop, needle and coiny are still in the running well maybe not coiny since he only got 78 votes. same with needle but she got a little bit more with 103 votes

our final two teardrop and flower, and flower gets 205 votes meaning she rejoins the game, happy times indeed.

with a minute left we start our challenge, the long jump. i mean are we seriously back to these boring concepts? whatever i mean theres been worse. 

spongy barely makes it past the start line fatass.

rocky decides he will be somewhat interesting and do a little dance before ending up pretty far actually. 

bubble decides being like spongy is the best strategy as she too becomes metal (leafy gave her some yoylecake forgot to mention) and falls right next to spongy.

firey gets thrown pretty far by flower, leafy cheats with her map and wins with flower just stepping in.

leafy transfers  her immunity and everyone except spongy is up for elimination.

its a shame that flower is an option that people can vote for, all rejoiners up to this point have been atleast granted one episode of safety so maybe we're crunched for time? or maybe the creators hate flower, ill let you decide.

veryyy short episode, in the sense that the actual challenge is about a minute long and the entire episode is just about voting results, and they somehow made it pretty exciting to watch.

like i know whos gonna rejoin but fuck its still pretty fun to watch and thats basically rewatching bfdi at this point.

this episode honestly is a solid 5.75/10 not the best but definitely not bad.
