critically ranking bfdi episodes

bfdi 24 - unwanted sequel

 bfdi 24 is probably the most infamous filler episode in bfdi history and im not surprised.

clocking in at a cool 11 minutes, when really the only thing important to know here is the final elimination and who you need to vote for, this was always doomed to be a pretty bad episode just because nothing really plot relevant happens. 

in bfb 29 this is the same issue, and it will probably continue for bfdia and tpot.

ironically for the first time II season 1 did something better than bfdi as it had its final episode have the final challenge, which i think is a much better way to choose the winner, not only because the creators have the final say but also becuase its just more fun and overall less boring.

bfdi 24 starts out with flower demanding an apology from bubble which leafy gives to her, leafy explains how she doesnt want one argument to  end their friendship but bubble doesnt want her friendship.

leafy goes on a ferries wheel built by firey and huh wait, oh god not this scene. the dreaded start to fireafy divorce arc. 

i mean its a fine scene if you take it from the perspective of this being just a random scene to fill out runtime but once you look at the impact this had on bfdi as a whole, its kind of crazy

inadvertedly caused dream island being lost, bfdia starting + all other seasons + evil leafy from leafy being separated + leafy basically having no friends 

moving on to cake at stake with the final elimination of the series. you probably already know whos eliminated but before that we get this really long segment of the cast slowly getting picked off by poisonous bugs, before this its revealed that the recovery centers are gone so any death is permanent. 

the announcer deletes the bugs and uses david and a david cloner to bring back the lost semi-finalists. 

anyways the contestants come back after they said they faked their death so that whole segment was unnecessary.

and we get another filler thing as flower is eliminated, it shows all previous eliminations yay. this honestly is this most blatant time waster of the entire episode and im not surprised most people skip this even on their first viewing.

so yeah now were off to the finale, who'll win it firey, bubble or leafy?

 omga i think bubble will win tbh alliance powerrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

so yeah this episode i guess is important, you cant skip it but on rewatches, i probably would. i'd say its really just a bland and pretty boring episode that basically goes nowhere and barely has stakes. 

like a 3.5/10 honestly.
