"Did he heal himself?"

"I don't think he healed himself. Rather, he used whatever quirk master gave him to patch himself up. It could be an emitter type quirk." Kurogiri concluded.

"Uhm. Sorry to interrupt the conversation, but why am I restrained?" Izuku grumbled as he woke up. He had no memory of what had just happened.

They all looked at him with confusion. He was acting normal after he went Toga?

"Why are you all looking at me like that? Let me go. This is uncomfortable." He whined.

"You don't want to kill any of us?" Kurogiri asked.

"I will if you don't let me go." Izuku growled. He started getting impatient and struggling against the metal cuffs.

"Give us a second, Izuku." Dabi said as he grabbed Shigaraki and Kurogiri and dragged them out of the room, closing the door behind them.

"What is happening? I thought you said he was insane?" Shigaraki asked.

"He was! Why the hell would I cut him and myself? I may be a villain, but I'm not a suicidal maniac!" Dabi asserted.

"Does that look like an insanity driven kid to you?" Shigaraki retorted.

"What if that was due to the quirk?" Kurogiri chimed in.

Shigaraki and Dabi both stared at him. They hadn't considered that as a possibility.

"And what if it is due to his new quirk? We don't have a way of knowing what this quirk is." Shigaraki pointed out.

"Y'know, we could just ask him. He might remember that part." Dabi concluded as he opened the door.

"Ok, kid, we have a question, and you're going to answer i -" Shigaraki cut himself off as he saw that the bed was empty and the restraints were broken. Izuku sat casually in one of the chairs as he flipped through a magazine.

"How did you break the restraints?" Kurogiri asked in disbelief.

"Well, after you left. I realized how weak they were, so I broke them. I was tired of laying there, and I wanted to explore the room a little." Izuku explained nonchalantly as he let the magazine dangle in front of his face.

The three sat there in silence. They looked at the scrawny kid in front of them and back at the broken restraints.

"Not even the Nomu could break out of those restraints." Dabi whispered.

"What did you wanna ask me?" Izuku asked bluntly. He propped his legs over the arm of the chair and laid his head back. He was obviously bored.

"Right, do you remember what quirk master gave you?" Shigaraki asked.

"Some weird quirk I've never heard of. He called it 'Devils Playground'." He said dryly as he sat up, throwing the magazine he was looking at to the side and fished through a pile for a new one.

"What does it do?" Dabi was scared to ask. Knowing AFO, it could be anything.

"Something about blood manipulation and a demon. Don't really care what it does, though." He said as he settled on a thin, fighting magazine.

"Ok, that answers why he was acting like a maniac and the unexplained strength. But why would he give the kid such an overpowered quirk?" Dabi noted.

"He's probably planning to use him for something." Kurogiri concluded.

"Wait, back up. How was I acting like a maniac?" Izuku pried. He was so interested that he sat down the magazine and sat back up.

"Well, first off, you carved the word 'Keres' into your stomach. After that, you tried to kill me." Dabi filled Izuku in.
