I've been hiding out for the past month, watching the house. I knew I smelled a familiar scent, but I couldn't pin it down. Until lately, I've realized who it was, but she always was being guarded by her Alpha. Why was she even being guarded by the Alpha? I wouldn't know. I've missed her ever since the rogues driving the van kidnapped me. (I forgot about Shadow's younger sister... Sorry guys! And she's now 12.) When they realized their *subject* had escaped, they saw me trying to run after her and grabbed me. They threw me into a lake after driving for a while... They didn't know I could swim, so I escaped by swimming.

I found a way back to where my sis escaped by following the van's scent. I tried following her scent, but she must've been through water or attacked a squirrel or something with a different scent.

I've been searching for a pack that might take me in for the past five years, thinking my sister didn't care. But I realized she did when she blindly ran after my scent.

When I saw her blazing wolf form on the ground, I licked her muzzle before she blacked out. I hauled her on my back, passing the Alpha silently. He passed after me but I ignored him. I just passed inside the house without trouble, because the guards knew who it was. They knew her.

Alpha padded ahead of me, stopping me. "Give me her." He demanded in an Alpha tone.

"No." I replied bluntly, the Alpha tone bouncing off of me.

"I am the Alpha and you will obey my commands! Now, I say, give her to me!" He growled loudly. I just padded around him.

Shadow had woken up because of the commotion. "Chloe? What's going on?" She murmured sleepily. I'm glad she wasn't hurting anymore.

"Alpha dislikes me." I replied, bluntly again. Blunt was my thing.

"What did you do?" She asked playfully.

"Piss him off." I muttered. "I won't give you back to him. Unless you're awake and healthy, or if you give him permission.

"Well thanks sis!" She barked in my ear.

Tony padded up to us. "Screw you!" He growled at me.

"Who the flip do you think you're talking too?!" I boomed as Shadow stood up.

"I think, wait no, I know I'm talking to-" His eyes glazed over. He was about to cuss at me, but his wolf was arguing with him. I could tell.

"I'm talking to a dumb as heck son of a biscuit!" He growled, finishing his sentence.

My eyes burned golden. "Did you just-"

"I just did." He cut me off. "What you gonna do about it? You can't attack an Alpha."

"Aw, flip it." I growled and launched myself at him, despite my sister's pleads to not attack him. (We were in wolf form the whole time to confirm.) We tumbled on the hardwood floor, and his fur sizzled as my fire-fur burned and scorched him. I bit and slashed at his face. He clawed at me but every time he touched me harmingly, he got another burn. I jumped off him. I growled lowly. He growled lowly as well as we circled each other. I roared in a howl, which scared him a lot. I could see his tail tuck. He fought the urge to submit. I growled and held my tail high, my head cocked upwards. I slashed at his fur, but suddenly. Somehow he used telekinesis, causing me to choke without him touching me.

I scrambled, but nothing could stop me from choking. My throat clenched, and he smirked evilly as black dots filled my vision. Everything blurred, but suddenly something crazy happened before I could die.

My sister launched herself at the Alpha. She pinned him and muttered something to him. His eyes widened, but then he growled, "You're not my mate anymore!"

Shadow said, "I, Shadow Gomez, accept Tony Lynch's rejection." She growled out, clenching her teeth. I tried to get up, but I still blacked out from all that loss of oxygen.
