You and Alejandro have been dating for a few months. It was a simple yet fun relationship. He was loud funny and outgoing everything you loved but... you couldn't help but feel drawn to his best friend, Rudy. You and Rudy had shamefully done...things before. Of course, it crossed the line between just a friendship but couldn't bring yourself to tell Alejandro.
Alejandro and Soap hosted a party in the base after another successful mission. Everyone was happy. There was loud music, and everyone was dancing or chatting. Alejandro was more outgoing than you were, so you stayed near the walls talking with a few friends. You spotted Rudy drinking while sitting at a table. He had this calm expression as he watched his best friend dance and have fun; he couldn't help but smile. Your heart fluttered as you approached him.
"Hey, Rudy," you say warmly.
"Oh, hey Y/n, are you enjoying the party?" he asked, moving so you could sit next to him.
You nod with a smile, saying "It's just a little too loud for my liking"; you chuckle.
"You want to go somewhere else?" he says, getting up with a smile.
You smile, feeling excited at his sudden offer. "U-uh yeah sure," you say. You follow him towards another room in the base. It's a lounge room. It's quiet and empty.
"Mejor?" he asks with a smile.
"Yeah, this is fine," you say, sitting down at the table with him.
"How is everything going with-" he paused before speaking again "with Alejandro?"
You stayed quiet nervously, "it's going".
He hums in response, "I'm glad I'm glad," he says, resting his hand on top of yours.
"Rudy we can't just... we can't just keep pretending like nothing is happening-"
"I know. We'll tell him soon I just don't want to hurt him..He is my best friend and -"
"I know I know I just feel so...guilty about I guess" you sigh. He rubs his thumb on your hand as he kisses you softly. At that moment Soap and Alejandro walk through the door. They were laughing as they held their drinks in their hand. Alejandro saw you and Rudy kiss. You look at him feeling your heart drop.
