Bradley:

"You don't like pretzels?!"
I exclaimed in shock, how could anyone dislike pretzels?!

"They're just do bland and dry, how could you like them.."
Replied max with an extremely judgmental tone

"Well you don't have to eat them. More for me!"
Teased Bradley knowing it didn't bother max one bit.

As they were walking, Max pushing the shopping cart, Bradley checking things off the list they had made before coming in. Neither of them paying much attention to their surroundings while making their way to the fruit, they were almost done and Bradley could relax, getting this off his list of things to do. He was also happy to not need to spend so much time with Max, he wasn't a bad guy, there was still tensión though and he could feel it.

Lost in thought Bradley hadn't looked where he was going and completely shoulder checked a young lady causing her to drop all the avocados in her hand.
Realizing the result of his idiotic oblivion he rushed to help her pick them up

"I am so sorry about that ma'am, how dumb of me to not see you in plain sight"
He apologized, in a very charming way, the girl was cute and didn't know him, it could work.

She giggled,
"You're all good, really!"
She said, her expression changing a bit when she saw his face

An awkward silence lasted for a small amount of time

"Actually, you could repay me.."
she said retrieving the avocados from his grip

"If I could get your number..."
She said with a smug smile and a flirty tone

Bradley knew that was what she was going to say and he fully intended on giving his number to her, she was a very attractive lady. As he was about to speak, max interrupted

"We need to finish this list Bradley, hurry up I want to get back to the dorm"

Said Max, sounding extremely irritated and Bradley had been a bit irritated with him for interrupting as well.

"Ahh, well it looks like I do have to go. Maybe I can catch you somewhere else?"

He said as he lifted himself from his crouched position giving her his best look.
He made his way back to max, reluctantly as he rolled his eyes in the direction of Max who was watching the whole interaction with a look of judgment and stupidity.

As they walked off to finish the list, Bradley commented

"Just because you can't get girls to like you doesn't mean you have to ruin it for me"

Max chuckled

"Oh please, I was saving you."

Said Max as he stopped the cart and put some bananas in a bag

"I know her, she didn't have the best intentions."

He sounded barely even interested and Bradley wanted to bother him more about it but he left it be and went to grab some strawberries.

After shopping, they loaded all the bags into the trunk and headed back to campus, it had already been getting dark and Max started to does off in the car, making Bradley smile a bit. Was he really that tired? Sure it had been a long day but he could definitely wait till the 10 minute ride was over.

Bradley was also surprised at how good he managed to smell throughout the whole day, he could still smell his cologne and now it had been engraved in his car which brought him a feeling of satisfaction and he couldn't  quite place why.

He parked in his spot on campus and he took his keys out of the ignition, he thought that would give max a wake up call but it didn't. He considered lightly tapping max on the shoulder but in fear of being too sincere he decided to honk his horn to wake him up instead and forced out a laugh as Max woke up frightened and then quickly turned irritated.

Settling in after everything was put away, Max had closed the door to his room and most likely didn't even make it to his bed, Bradley thought to himself Judging by how exhausted Max has been all evening. Bradley was tired as well but he wanted to make sure max was doing okay, so before heading to sleep he went to Max's room and cracked the door a bit to find Max slumped, with his cloths on once again.

Bradley chuckled to himself about it as he made his way to his room and put on pajamas unlike max had. It was a good first day, and despite his roommate, this year was going to be awesome.
