(Romeo's POV)

I sat anxiously in the investigation room as the cop across from me stared me down. I gulp hard as they start to speak, they're cut off by another cop flying into the room with food.

"Huzzah! I am here with food!" The cop laughs and puts it down next to me. "Here you go, fill up and then we can talk."

"We're gonna do this right now." The first cop glares at me. "Why did you beat Josh Wilcox to a bloody pulp?"

"I--" I start but I am soon cut off.

"You're gonna intimidate him into silence." The second cops whispers horribly and turns to me with a sweet smile.

"No, I'm gonna scare the truth out of him." The first one stares at me.

My face twists in confusion as I wonder, "is this supposed to be bad cop and good cop?"

"No, we just genuinely don't get along," good cop says. "Okay, eat your food and tell us what happened."

Bad cop swipes the food off of the table and my eyes widen. "Tell me how Wilcox ended up bloody or you're going to end up in jail with the other prisoners and the same fate."

"I don't know how he ended up bloody! I really don't!" I explain. "I flirted with him as a joke, we went upstairs, and I left him! I was downstairs with my friend the entire time after that!"

Bad cop sighs, "Give me the friend's name."

Not wanting Drizzy to get in trouble, I mumble, "Do I have to...?"

"If you want this to classify as an alibi? Yes!" He shouts.

The room door swings open and my 'sister', Riva, walks in. "He has a right to a lawyer before any questioning begins. Romeo," she turns to me, "did they question you already?"

I sit in shock as I look at the cops who are silently arguing with each other. I look at Riva again and nod. "...Yeah..."

"Okay," good cop sits down, "so far, we've only asked him what happened. We got a call about a--"

"I know why he's here, what evidence do you have against him," Riva asks as she sits beside me.

 "There's an eye witness that saw him walk out of the room last," bad cop explains, "not to mention, the name Wilcox gave up himself was Romeo's. He claims there were times the relationship turned physical anyway."

"What?! No! I n--" I start and Riva puts a hand on my shoulder.

"Don't respond to that." She looks back at the cops. "Give me time alone with my client so that I can explain his rights since you decided to start without me."

"I think five minutes should be good enough?" Good cop says and walks out as he rushes bad cop to follow.

Riva turns to me. "I'll tell you when to talk and when not to talk because you have the right to remain silent to any and all questions. They'll try to lie and say crazy things to trick you into saying things that they can use against you, it's crazy but it's legal."

"How did you get here?"

"The group called me and told me what was going on. I assumed you didn't have a lawyer since you didn't call me yourself." She says. "Tell me more about what happened, go into detail so that I can help you."
