I'm just writing using some shitty phone, so forgive me if there's too much typo!

A few days have passed since Tanjiro, Zenitsu, and Inosuke have sheltered themselves in the wisteria mansion for a recovery. After a daily check of the doctor, it was stated that Zenitsu and Inosuke have recovered, while Tanjiro still needs a day or two.

However, the crow reported a certain issue in the mount Natagumo, in the northeast. Several demon hunters were sent there, but there's still no feedback from them. The crow initially planned to order Zenitsu and Inosuke to go there since they've already recovered, but Tanjiro said he would be coming.

Although he hasn't fully recovered yet, he feels better than before and thinks that he can handle himself well in the mission.

With that being said, the three changed into their uniform and prepared to leave. The grandma who guided and assisted them has come to see them off in the main entrance.

"We'll be going now, Grandma." Zenitsu said with a smile.

"I wish you three good luck. Please make it out safe."

After lighting some sparks for them to ward off evil spirits, Inosuke got mad thinking that she was trying to burn them alive. Thankfully, Zenitsu managed to restrain him.

The three of them ran towards the northeast, where the mount Natagumo is. It was an emergency summon so they hurriedly went there. If it weren't for Inosuke and Zenitsu holding Tanjiro back, he could've gone there before before it got dark, but he had to wait for them.

After all, this is a three-man mission ordered by the crow. Otherwise, he's crow will just tell him about it and go in there alone. But instead, the crow told the three of them, which made him think that it was more serious than he thought.

And besides, they could be an help. Tanjiro already knew this from the moment they all met, but the scent radiating from them clearly tells him that those two are stronger than he thinks. Although they look hopeless and loud.

The crow explained vague details about what's going on inside that mountain. Saying that several higher ranks hunters haven't yet come out. Aside from that, the crow did not specifically tell them any more information. Tanjiro sensed that it already knew what happened to the sent corps, but refused to tell them.

'They must have their own reasons. In any case, I have bad feelings about this.'

Just at dawn, the three arrived at the mountain. Even though it's not yet dark, the eerie feeling from the mountains almost makes Zenitsu wants to come back to his mother's womb. But regardless, the three of them still entered the mountain.

"It's awfully quiet here." Tanjiro remarked.

"Maybe all of the hunters here are dead." Inosuke stated bluntly.

"That's maybe the case." Zenitsu said. "I can't even hear an animal's voice. Even a bird's chirp."

It's dawn. It's close to getting dark. And in that time, the demons will show up. The three of them stick close to each other with Tanjiro being the first and Zenitsu in the middle.

As they roamed around the mountain, they made sure to look around and utilize their senses to see if there was anyone alive. They need information to survive this mountain, after all.

"After dawn, it'd be best if we split." Inosuke suggest.

"You really don't know anything, do you? In a place where multiple hunters were sent and weren't able to come back, who would want to be alone in this mountain?!" Zenitsu snapped.

"That's just you! I can manage myself! I'll slaughter all the demons I'll encounter!"

"That's what people who only think about themselves say!"
