THE ROYAL PACK

TRAINING PART 1

It was the beginning of dawn, but the sky still looked dark. It was a cold, foggy morning. Jimin and taehyung were waiting on the training grounds for jin to arrive. They both were shivering from head to toe out of cold as well as fear. They were covered with warm woolen clothes, the gloves as well as thick boots to protect themselves from the cold breeze.

Jimin rubbed both his hands together to produce heat from both his palms. His teeth kept jittering from cold and nervousness.

Taehyung looked nervous as well. He kept kicking the dewy grass in the garden with his thick boots to while away his time and to distract himself from his nervous thoughts.

Jimin looked at Tae concerned, " Are you feeling cold Tae? I have an extra pair of gloves. Do you want to wear them? " He asked Tae.

"Nah, jimin I am okay ", Tae said still kicking his feet, not glancing at jimin.

Jimin just nodded and stood silently in his place.

Their silence were interrupted, when they found jin walking in their direction, he marched majestically towards them with some of the Royal guards behind him, their heads bowed down. Jin had worn an armour and held a sword in his Scabbard.

Both jimin and tae stood straight at the sight of jin. They bowed down to him, their eyes casted towards the ground.

Jin looked at them and said, " It is good thing that I find both of you here on time. I will not hesitate to punish you if you are not punctual. Do you understand? "

Both jimin and taehyung stammered in a low voice, " Y-yes h-hyung ".

Jin nodded at them. " Let us begin with your training. " Jin said eyeing them.

"Taehyung " , Jin called out to Tae in his deep voice.

Taehyung looked at Jin trembling ;
" About your punishment for skipping your training yesterday ",

Taehyung dreaded the punishment most. Jin was very harsh on him. His eyes teared up at jin's mention of punishment.

" I will let you get away with it ", jin said which made taehyung widen his eyes. Jin had never ever let anyone slide without punishment if he had decided to punish them.

So, taehyung felt like he was dreaming. Jin continued, " Only if you win against jimin, and he gets your punishment ", Jin said smirking at the twins.

Taehyung's smile fell off, he looked at jimin shocked, who looked back at him sadly.

Taehyung would rather let Jin punish him than to make jimin get punished. Jimin on the other hand wanted tae to win over him and free himself out of punishment.

" Do not give up for each other, if you do so ,you will face my wrath , am I clear? " Jin warned them as if he read their minds.

Taehyung and jimin mumbled a small yes.

Jin then ordered them, " First you will shift into your wolf form and race into the woods, the one who gets back here first will be considered the winner in the first part of your training. "

"Get into the tracks ", Jin roared at them  .

Taehyung for sure had a powerful wolf and could beat jimin easily. He felt uneasy competing his twin knowing jimin would be in trouble.

However, they had no choice. So, the twins howled before transforming themselves into their wolf forms.
Though both tae and jimin were twins, theirs wolves were nothing alike neither was their human features.

Tae had a large grey wolf with deep green eyes. He was a pure blooded alpha which roared mighty and majesticness . Together with his magical power over hypnosis and illusion, he could form the best warrior of all times.

Jin wanted Tae to be under his control and he wanted to make use of Tae's abilities for his victory .

Jimin had a smaller wolf form, with blonde fur and tiny golden eyes. His wolf revealed the softness which he held within him.

Both of them raced into the woods on jin's command ; jimin took his time  , he ran through the woods feeling the gushing breeze. He wanted to enjoy the freedom he was given for a moment. His wolf felt the pleasure of breeze by closing its eyes.

Deep into the woods, the beauty was magnificent. Taehyung paused on his track to see jimin far behind him;

He looked at jimin shocked who did not even try to compete him. Taehyung slowed down his pace for jimin to catch up with him.

Jimin slowly reached Taehyung, who just looked back at his wolf. Jimin understood what Tae wanted, he ran a little ahead of Taehyung, both of them halted and looked in an awe at the beauty of the magnificent lake.

The mountain covering it's landscape with beautiful water falling into the lake. The golden light indicating the beginning of dawn giving a marvellous view.

Jimin looked into his reflection in the lake water. His golden fur shimmering with the day light. Beside his reflection, he found Tae 's grey wolf, his green eyes glittering.

Jimin could see how much their wolves had transformed ever since  they had first presented. Tae looked way too powerful, jimin thought. His intense training had made his strength immensible .

Jimin turned back to see taehyung had turned back into his human form. Taehyung plucked a beautiful golden flower . He came closer to jimin 's wolf placing it on his fur. Taehyung slowly caressed jimin's fur, " Your wolf looks more beautiful everyday jimin ", he said to jimin smiling.

" We are getting late jimin, I want you to run ahead of me and cross the finish line " Taehyung said to jimin.

Jimin just looked away. Taehyung blinked his eyes confused, " I don't want you to get punished again , jimin. I am all used to jin hyung's punishment ", tae confessed.

Jimin took a moment before turning into his human form, " Are you trying to say I am weak Tae ,  do you think I am no way near your ability to compete with you? " Jimin said to Tae slightly showing he was upset.

Tae was beyond shocked, he had never seen his twin getting mad at him or anyone .

Taehyung held his hand up in defense, " I -I didn't mean that jimin, please don't misunderstand me ", he said his eyes widened with surprise.

" Then what does you giving up imply, taehyung? ", jimin questioned tae, his usual soft voice deep.

Tae stood silent for a minute not able to form words. He never intended to call his twin weak or hurt his feelings, he just didn't want jimin into trouble.

Jimin took a deep breath before saying, " We will compete fair and square today, taehyung ; you will give your best today just like I would do the same ; No giving up , deal? " ,

Tae stood still contemplating jimin's words but then he finally gave in, " Deal " , he said.
