Jungkook played with his chopsticks trying to dodge away his dinner. It has been almost more than an hour since he was served the food. He would have skipped the dinner if not for the stern warning of his Namjoon hyung.
Namjoon had asked to him to meet him in his room after dinner. This made jungkook nervous, so he tried to delay the meeting by taking his time in chewing down the food until they can no longer be chewed.
Just then, a servant bowed down to him, " Seventh prince, the fourth prince asked you to be in his room soon. " He said while looking down.
Jungkook gulped his food down , he knew he no longer could delay the call, " I will be there soon, you may go " He said to the servant.
Soon, he wiped his mouth with the towel, and left in the direction of Namjoon's room.
He knocked on the door, just to hear a 'come in '
He went inside the room and stood there silently, Namjoon was busy writing something on the scroll paper with a brush and ink.
He was sitting before the desk table.
" Did you finish your dinner, jungkook? " , Namjoon asked while still concentrating in writing on his scroll.
Jungkook gulped down again, he sensed that his hyung seemed angry as he always used to call him 'kookie' it was 'jungkook ' only when he was angry.
Namjoon was usually the cool hyung, jungkook looked up to. He was always understanding and never scolded any of them unless they actually messed up.
" Yes hyung " Jungkook said in a low voice while looking down.
"Come sit here " Namjoon gestured jungkook to sit before his desk table.
Jungkook took his seat, while waiting for his hyung's next words.
" I will be asking you some questions jungkook and I want honest anwers, alright? " Namjoon asked while looking right into the boy's eyes.
Jungkook nodded his head nervously.
Namjoon sighed, " Answer me verbally, you know the basic Etiquettes, do you want me to remind you ?" He asked slight anger visible in his tone.
Jungkook quickly apologized, " I am sorry hyung. I will answer your questions honestly "
Namjoon tried to calm himself down, " Do you find any trouble in your school? " He asked jungkook.
Jungkook felt a churn in his stomach, he bit his lips nervously.
Namjoon calmly waited for his answer while observing his reactions. Namjoon was very smart and could read people thoroughly.
" N- no hyung " Jungkook said.
Namjoon nodded his head.
" Why did you skip school then? For past two weeks, jungkook. Do you have your reasons? " Namjoon asked, his tone calm.
Jungkook's eyes widened. How did he get to know about it. It was Taehyung's plan to make jungkook skip his school so as to keep his secret safe.
" Don't you dare to lie jungkook, my patience is running very thin. Why. Did. You. Skip. School? " Namjoon asked him , anger evident in his tone.
"Hyungie... I -I don't k-know " Jungkook said nervously, his little doe eyes filled with innocence.
Namjoon sighed, it was hard for him to be harsh at jungkook but this time jungkook was just making him angry.
" Jungkookah... I am asking you last time, you can tell me if anything is bothering you. If you don't, then I will assume you are skipping school for no reason and tell this to jin hyung. Do you want me to do that? " Namjoon asked as he was getting frustrated, he was no way going to take this to jin but he wanted to scare jungkook to get the truth out of him.
Jungkook shook his head, as tears roll down his cheeks. Maybe he should tell Namjoon the truth, he might help him.
" H-hyungie.... The reason I skipped school was cause I.... I... " Jungkook gulped a lump in his throat.
Namjoon shut his eyes, waiting for his answer.
"G-got... " Before he could tell the word 'presented '
Taehyung burst open into Namjoon 's study making him confused.
"Taehyung " Namjoon said as he was surprised at the boy barging in without knocking .
Jimin was close behind Tae trying to pull him out of the room.
" He skipped school cause I told him to do so " Taehyung said confidently.
Jimin's mouth hung open, while jungkook looked at him with his wide eyes.
Namjoon blinked, " What? Come again.... He skipped school cause you asked him to do so? , he asked confusion written on his face.
Taehyung nodded his head.
" Are you kidding me Taehyung? Why would you do that? " Namjoon asked as he was getting annoyed at Taehyung's words.
"Because he was bullied at school by some kid and he couldn't tell you about this, right jungkookie? " Taehyung asked subtly winking at kook.
He was best at lying and fooling his hyungs. No one not even Namjoon could detect his lies.
"Really, jungkook, why didn't you tell me? I would have taken action on that kid. You need not skip school for that. " Namjoon said feeling bad for scolding him.
"Hyung... Let him train with us please. He is not used to those school stuffs. " Taehyung asked Namjoon.
Namjoon looked at jungkook and sighed, Tae was right, jungkook was brought up in palace and mixing up with commoners can add to his difficulty.
" I will see to it okay.... Just leave for now " Namjoon said asking them all to leave, he needed some time to think about it.

Just then, the same servant entered while his head was bowed down, " Your majesty has ordered the seventh prince to meet him in his room " He said informing them all.
All of them looked alarmed, Taehyung looked at Namjoon as if questioning him if it was in regards to the same matter.
Namjoon cleared his throat, " What is with that look? I didn't tell anything to jin hyung. " He said.
Jungkook looked scared, how much more was he going to handle.
