The noise

I wake up too Geoff kissing my forehead. "Rise and shine beautiful." He says softly. I flutter my eyes and yawn. I get up slowly stretching my arms towards Geoff. I hug him and kiss his cheek. I smile and so does he. "What are you doing currently?" I ask wondering why he came in. "Well we are still testing on the twins and we are taking samples and putting them in other humans to see if we can make more superhumans." He explained while moving his hands. I nod trying to understand but fail. I giggle. " Well I just came by and wanted to say hi." He exclaimed. We hugged and he went back to work. I made and effort to get out of bed and that didn't work out. So I ended up just rolling off my bed. I chuckle at my weirdness and jump up happily.

First I need to put on some comfy clothes and then go give my gifts to Ryder. I put on some gray sweat pants and a black One direction sweater on. I put my hair into a cute messy bun and put on a flowery perfume called "Warm Roses". I grab his presents and make my way towards his room. I walk past the lab and I hear some kind off loud crashing noise. I try to peek in but don't see anything. I shrug it off and ignore it. I slowly open the door. "Ry..". I sigh and see him crying with his head in his hands. I put his presents down and rush towards him very concerned. "Ry what's wrong, love?" I try to comfort him. He sobs " There was someone trying to hurt you and Geoff.....*sniff* he killed Geoff and you lost it and attacked whoever killed him.... he killed you too....*sniff*.... and I found your body and I was so devestated... then I woke up and realized it was just a dream. But it was so realistic. I was scared I lost you." "Awh no I'm right here and Geoff is in the other room. See? We are perfectly fine. I hug him tightly to make him feel safe. He squeezes back. He let's go and I wipe his eye with my sleeve. "See everything is ok. I'm right here for you." I tell him. He nods and smiles. I get up and grab the presents. "I hope you like them." I hand him them. I opens one slowly. He looks up at me "You're the best!" as he cuddles
his stuffed animal. Ry opens the next and looks at me weird. "Are you trying to tell me I stink?" I says sternly. I giggle. "No I just thought you would like a new smell." I explain when he smells the cologne. He sprays it all over him. I cough and swat away the smell because I inhaled it when he sprayed so much of it. "Hahah..*cough*.. jeez Ryder...*wheeze*... I guess you liked it." I manage to get out. He nods quickly and laughs at me struggling. I furrow my eyebrows at him. "Why don't we take a walk?" He says patting my back. "Sure" and we hold hands and walk towards the entrance of the buliding. The sliding doors open and we step outside. I get a chill down my spine. Somethings not right. The atmosphere seems a bit off and has a tinge of a smell to it. The sky seems to be a bit tinted of the color green. Maybe I just hadn't been outside for awhile. It's probably nothing.

We walk alongside the road. It's weird barely any cars are to be seen. We walk towards a building and see a homeless person leaning against a nearby tree. I start to get upset. I hate seeing people in this condition. I dig into my pocket and find a 20 dollar bill. I unlock hands with Ryder and jog towards the woman. I hand her the bill and she looks up at me so greatfully. "God bless you young lady, thank you so much and let everything be in your favor today." I thank her and hug her. "God bless you too ma'am." I smile and wave goodbye. I lock hands with Ryder again and he just stares at me. "What?" "You are the sweetest person ever.". I blush "I felt bad so I thought I would help." I explain.

We walk for awhile and just notice small things to seem... I don't know, just off or unusual. We pass by a little girl playing hopscotch. We wave and she giggles and does the same. I smile and we continue walking. I look back to see the little girl crossing the road and skipping not giving a care of anything. A car comes out of no where and is speeding straight towards her. I gasp. I dash for the little girl. The car lurches forward, very close to the girl. I run faster than I ever could and grab her. I trip and we fall onto the ground. I get up slowly and Ryder rushes over. I scream in horror. She's not moving. I start to panic and cry. I try to shake her. I put my ear against her chest. I hear nothing. I squeak. I do that whenever I'm really upset and scared. I put two fingers against the side of her neck. There's no pulse. I cry and hug her limp body. I lay her down. My face lights up, my powers I can use my electricity as a defibrillator. I gather up some electric and press my hands against her chest. She doesn't move. I do it again with more electric. I panic again and Ryder tries to give her mouth to mouth resesatation. After a bit he stops. He sighs. I exam her body and look for any signs of life. Her finger twitches. I grab her hand and she slowly opens her eyes.

"CLEMENTINE! CLEM WHERE ARE YOU?" I hear a voice blare behind me. I jerk my body towards the woman crying. She rushes over to us and picks up the girl. "What happened?" She sobs. "She was skipping across the street and there was a car coming. I ran and got her before it hit but I fell on her and she wasn't breathing and I couldn't find a pulse. Ryder saved her." "Oh my gosh thank you guys so much for saving her! I'm going to take her to the hospital...thanks so much..bless you guys...oh thank you." She rushes. She carries her to her house. "I think we should head back before anything else happens." Ryder ensists." "Agreed".

We walk back to Aragon and try to settle down in my room. "Well so much for going for a walk." He sighs.
"Well if we hadn't gone we couldn't have helped those people."
"Good point." He rethinks it. I run my fingers through my hair. I smile and try to cheer Ryder up. I hug him and he kisses my cheek. "Come on be happy we can do something together tomorrow." I say cheering him up.
He smiles and opens his mouth to say something. *BANG* I loud crashing noise echos followed with a scream.
He and I look at eachother scared. We rush towards the noise.
