ally pov:i quietly grabbed clothes from my closet, being mindful not to wake up sierra yet, grabbing a pair of baggy jeans, a graphic t-shirt, and set my pair of shoes by my door.
sierra was fast asleep on my bed, stormy sleeping at her feet, snoring.
my mom came into my room, looking at sierra sleeping in my bed and myself getting ready.
"are you gonna give her a ride to school?" my mom asked.
"yeah. i'm sure she can wear some of my clothes we have the same style." i replied.
"and shoes?" she asked.
"she's a foot shorter than me so i doubt any of mine would fit her. i'll figure it out after i take a shower" i replied sarcasticallyme and sierra didn't have to leave till 9:30 so i had time to shower and take my time to get ready.
my mom nodded, leaving my room quietly, making me walk to my bathroom and start my shower.

sierra was seated in my passenger seat, wearing some of my clothes and the shoes she had on last night.music quietly played on my stereo as i drove us to school.
"thank you." sierra quietly spoke.
"of course." i said back.
"i'll pay you back. for everything." sierra said.
"stop. you don't owe me anything. i'm just helping a friend." i replied.sierras small smile faded, making her look back out my window, which made me wonder what i said wrong.
she doesn't think there's anything between us now...right?
i brushed my thoughts aside when i pulled into the school parking lot, pulling into a spot further away from all the other cars.
"why did you park so far away?" she asked.
"i'm not risking getting any type of scratch or marks on my car." i replied.sierra chuckled at me and we both got out, grabbing our bags from the backseat and walking towards the school building.
"do you like anyone?" sierra suddenly asked.
"i have a girlfriend" i blurted.sierra looked over at me, confused as to why i said it so suddenly.
"you do?" she asked.
"it's kinda...complicated. there's not really a label." i explained.sierra nodded, walking up the steps to the front door with me.
i opened the door for her, allowing her to walk in first then letting me walk in behind her.
"so like...is it serious?" she asked.
"yeah." i replied dryly.she hummed, walking beside me to second period.
i was dreading the day without billie, knowing i was gonna have a substitute for second period and not my beautiful girl.
i opened the door for sierra again, walking into the classroom behind her.
only half the class was there, everyone skipping because substitutes almost always meant no work.
me and sierra took our seats in the very back of the classroom.
the sub began taking attendance, both me and sierra saying we were here when our names got called.
