As I made it back to Alexandria, I felt like I wasn't out for long enough, I wanted to go back out so I turned to Carl "Wanna stay out a little longer" I looked up into his eyes slightly biting my lip hoping for a yes

He looked down at me and discreetly licked his lips "Y-Yeah I don't mind" Carl stuttered, I spun around and walked out again, I looked at Max on my way out I could tell he was not going to tell Rio, not my problem though right?

I glanced around and spotted deserted cars. "Hey, ever fancied driving one of these?" I inquired Carl. "I mean, yeah, but they're not gonna run,", A sense of disappointment washed over me as I exhaled heavily. I already knew they wouldn't work, but hearing it confirmed was a letdown

We walked back into the woods, "Do you remember when we were kids and we made that treehouse in my backyard?" I asked, "Yeah but we didn't make it properly so it just collapsed when the wind hit it" Carl chuckled

"Your fault" I reminded him, "Yep" He said sarcastically, I caught the sound of a branch snapping and the faint growl of a walker named "Carl." I whispered urgently and tugged on his shirt. Carl moved towards the noise and whistled at it, "Hey, come on." He called out loudly

"What are you doing?" I stated, "We should kill it"

"You're not killing it! It's Diane" Carl told me, "What" I gasped, It came closer towards us Carl swiftly knocked it down to the ground, "Let's go before she gets back up" Carl grabbed my hand and pulled me towards him as we rushed away I felt my cheeks getting warm as he grabbed my hand it felt ticklish on my hand I went to pull it away but I couldn't "Where are we going?" I exclaimed

We got to a fair distance away now so Carl stopped, "Do you wanna go back or do you wanna go mess about in the houses over there" He pointed to a street, "You really gonna ask me that?" I questioned with a chuckle "Come on then let's go backkkk" Carl joked, "Noooo" I laughed

"Yep, let's go" Carl said, pulling my hand. "Noooo" I resisted, pulling him back. "You're quite strong, aren't you?" He moved closer and tickled me, making me burst into laughter. "And ticklish," he remarked, turning me around getting me closer to him and tickling my stomach, eliciting more chuckles. "That's enough, Carl," I exclaimed

"Nope"

"This is pure torture!" I chuckled as he pressed me closer to him, I turned to look at him and his face turned red, "Alright, I'll stop," he relented, releasing me. I almost lost my balance, but he caught me just in time. Chuckling once more, we made our way over to the street.

"Right whose house are we gonna put our nose in most probably dead people's business?" I asked Carl, "Umm" He looked around "That one because it has a treehouse" Carl pointed out, "Oh yeah you planning on knocking it down ay?" I asked

He chuckled and nudged me, After a moment of hesitation, we walked towards  the house and ended up sneaking into the house through a slightly ajar window
