Today was the day, today was the day they found out if they were having a girl or boy, she decided to make a groupchat with the rest of her coworkers to announce she was pregnant as they drove to the hospital, she was filled with congratulations and she smiled, she couldn't wait see her baby girl or boy, reece held her hand on the way and in the waiting room, they both felt their hearts pounding against their chest as they were called.
When the nurse put the gel on her, she shivered it was awfully cold, she squeezed reece's hand slightly and he squeezed right back letting her know he was there and he was going to be there every step of the way, the nurse placed the object on her stomach and moved it around, she put the sound on and they could hear their babys heartbeart, their heart swelled with love and adoration.
"So is it a boy or girl?" Reece asked, the nurse smiled gently moving the screen to face them before pointing to the growing fetus inside of her, "I'm very happy to tell you both that it is a...." Their heart swelled and marjorie let out a sob reece immediately hugging her "It's real we're going to be parents." Reece soothed, he was also crying - they were happy tears.
on the drive to get the cake, their hearts swelled "We heard their heartbeat, i can't believe this is real." Marjorie spoke still in shock as reece let his hand rest on her thigh and he soothinly stroked it "I know, it's real we're going to be parents." He said smiling, Majrorie invited everyone to her baby shower, even siobhan who had dumped roger and who was now with Vivian.
Everyone laughed and joked in marjorie's and reeces shared home, and they brought out the cake, both holding the knife to cut it "Just a heads up! We know the gender!" Marjorie spoke randomly, this made everyone laugh even reece "You sure come out with random things don't you gorgeous?" He asked and she smiled and giggled before placing her hand ontop of his and cutting the cake to reveal the gender and everyone cheered, they were having a baby girl.
She got even more congratulations and autumn had even hugged her before whispering "I'm so happy for you." in her ear, she had never been happier, she was having a mini me and she still was slightly impatient excited and nervous to see what her baby would look like, they had already set up the nursery and tomorrow they were planning on taking the day off to get some baby clothes and finish decorating the nursery and they did just that, the nursery was fully ready, the next evening.
Both of them had never been happier, their had been tears of joy, screams of joy and now all was left was smiles as reece and marjorie hugged each other they both spoke at the same time "I love you." They both laughed at the condience of saying it at the same time and sleep soon enveloped the both of them, dreaming of their future together and of their child.
