When she had walked into the house, she expected to cry but all she could do was just stare blankly, she felt reece's hand on her back and it urged her to continue walking, This whole entire situation felt unreal, she felt as if it was all a massive nightmare even though it wasn't, it was like she wasn't even in her body anymore, that she was just a shell.

The person she used to be, gone. As she sat on the sofa she felt reece's arm wrap around her and she cuddled into his chest because with him she felt safe and secure, with him she felt as she could beat the world even though she knew she couldn't, if she was being honest, each day that had passed since their baby girl had gone to heaven, she felt as if she was slipping away - it had been a 4 days, almost a week.

Marjorie didn't want to worry anyone, so she stayed quiet with how she felt, she snuggled up more to reece as she stared blankly at the television, the silence was comforting but not at the same time, this was not their thing, they usually talked about how they felt but right now both reece and marjorie wanted anything but to do that.

She fears she would break down in tears and ask the question like she had done before when she found out, why us? why them? She knew it was a question that could never be answered, after all there was no reason it was them, it just happened, maybe it was fate? maybe it wasn't, she didn't know, she didn't want to know.

Marjorie huddled into reece's arms more and he held her tighter in response while stroking her hair "Are you okay?" He asks, she doesn't know how to answer that, she was so tired of not being okay, was this how she was going to feel for the rest of her life? She hopes not "No. Are you okay?" She responds meekly, laying her head on his chest "No." he responds.

She hums in response grabbing his other hand to interwine their fingers together, he starts to speak again "It's okay that your not fine gorgeous you know that right?" He says, in response she hums and nods against his chest "And it's okay that you're not okay either" She responds, he hums kissing her forehead, "I love you." He says starting to play with the engagement ring on her finger, "I love you too."
