The test that laid in her hands had 2 straight lines, she was pregnant, her heart broke because she felt this immense fear, she didn't know what to do, she didn't want to lose this baby. And worst of all she didn't know how to tell Reece. What if she lost this baby too? What would she do?
Just from this one singular moment, things had turned upside down, she dropped to the floor, sobbing. How? How was she going to do this? How was she going to tell Reece, she didn't know what else to do apart from sob.
Everything had changed, today she was pregnant and in 4 months they were getting married, was this baby going to survive? The thoughts overcrowded her head and all she done was sob and hold her knees to her chest, the pregnancy test lay beside her.
She sobbed into her arms as the reality came crushing down on her, she was pregnant, again. She had never felt like this, it felt like her heart was breaking. She was so scared of the outcome of this pregnancy, she didn't know if she was ready, if she would ever be ready.
She found herself picking up the pregnancy test and plopping it in her pocket before making her way down town to get back to Reece's, she hadn't even bothered to wipe away the tears so as soon she entered her and Reece's house, and Reece saw her. He immediately jumped up and hugged her, holding her close to his chest.
"What's wrong gorgeous, why are you so upset?"he soothes kissing the top of her head, she pulls away from him, looking up into his eyes "I..I need to tell you something." She speaks, her voice a mere whisper, she looks down at the floor scared for his reaction.
He gently lifts her chin up with his hand "whatever it is, I will be here for you. No matter what. You can tell me anything" he soothes kissing her forehead once more, she lets out a shaky breath before coming out with it "I'm pregnant."
