The baby looked confused and scared, her side fins drooped as she let out a small cry.
"What are you doing? " Kenji yawned out, hand on your waist and his coffee in the other as he watched his father and his daughter interact.
"Papa, I don't think she wants to do it.. " You said tiredly, rubbing your eyes and yawned before you leaned your head on Kenji's shoulder, making him place his chin on top of your head.
"We need to examine her so that we can make a training regiment to protect Emi from predators. " Professor Hayao said, emphasizing the name 'Emi' making you raise an eyebrow in confusion.
"Emi? You named her after auntie Emiko? " You said, making Kenji widen his eyes as he looked at his dad.
"Wait, Emi? You named her after mom? " He repeated, making you sigh. Professor Hayao nodded, "I think she would approve. " He said.

"Okay now Emi, stand up nice and tall! " He said, waving the bunny in the air and catching her attention, making her eyes widen and get up on her knees to stand up. Now chirping happily.
"My god, my dad is a Kaiju whisperer. " Kenji said boredly. Surprised, but too tired to react.
"Mina, please prepare to insert the micro tracking device. " Professor Sato said, Mina nodded and floated towards Emi's left arm as Emi's eyes followed Mina.
"Huh? Why do we need that? " You questioned, looking at your papa for answers but he only smiled at you cheekily before facing the baby again. "Emi, can you do like bunny? " Professor Sato said as he lifted the Bunny's arm. Emi listened, lifting her left arm in confusion and chirped at you confusingly, making you give her a reassuring smile as Kenji rubbed circles on your waist with his thumb.
