The clock moved scarily slow as the bell signaling the beginning of the day rung. Students filed in as I fiddled with my pen, worried that someone would sit by me. A relief and pain washed over me as nobody even considered to sit by me.
"All right class, settle down please. Today is a special day, we have a new student, Miss Jade-Lynn Harris." The prettiest girl I've ever seen stood behind Mr. Caverns and gave everyone a half smile and half a wave.
"She transferred from New Mexico and will be joining us for the year of the year, please welcome her into our school." Jade-Lynn shifted from foot to foot, not liking how her business was shared.
Mr. Caverns gestured for her to take a seat. She scanned to room for her eyes to eventually flutter to me, the only one beside a free seat. I straightened my posture as she got closer, wanting to make a good first impression.
"Hey," she said nonchalantly, her voice was smooth and steady like silk honey. Her statue was tall and confident, and her face was bold.
As she sat down and started working on the paper that was handed out, I noticed the many rings that adorned her fingers varying from gold to green, each finger covered with jewelry. Her features were basically perfect, from her plump lips and deep hazel eyes that carried something mischievous in her eyes.
"Hi" I groaned internally once I realized how long it took me to respond. She gave me a half smile and looked at the board. I tried to do the same but my eyes kept on fluttering to her perfect features.
As Mr. Caverns passed out the worksheets, she turned to me. "Do you know how to do this?" She asked, catching me red-handed gawking at her.
I explained the exercise to her, shamefully sneaking glances at her perfect, perfect face. "Could... could we work together? I'm totally lost." She let out an embarrassed airy laugh that made my stomach churn.
"Um, yeah. So on question one..." I explained the paper but I felt like my brain was left on auto drive as she leaned in closer, her soft warm breath tickling the side of my neck.
We finished the packet and talked for remainder of class and my hurt totally didn't beat fast whenever she laughed at my jokes. "So what's your next class." I wanted to take back what I said but it was already too late.
"Uh, Ms. Arnold, what about you?" It took everything in my power to jump up and down at her respond. "That's great, I have her too. I can take you if you'd like?" I calmed myself before I got too excited.
"Yeah of course, it's not like I have any other friends." My heart stopped Beaton for a good second when she said I was her friend, only friend. "Um here's my seat, you could sit by me."
"Thanks-" she tried to say something else but the ringing of the bell interrupted her. The class filled up with other students and left us with little space to get to our seat. Jadelynn tried to sneak past me in an attempt to her new seat.
In doing so, her strong hands gripped my waist, gently moving me to the side. My breath stopped and my head swirled with her smell coming from behind me as she whispered in my ear, "Excuse me, Salem."
I stood still and everybody kept moving leaving me in a state of awe. I slumped in my chair before I made it too weird. I gripped the edge off my seat while staring at the whiteboard, trying to drown out her perfectness.
"So Jadelynn, how was New Mexico?" "Just call me me Jade, but it was okay, Texas is fun too." She stared checked name out as fun left her mouth. My face burned with the attention I was getting from her.
Just like history, I helped her with the English paperwork. "You're actually so smart, thank you so much Salem." She smiled brushing her arm against mine, if or if it wasn't on purpose I still made my heart skip.

"Funny meeting you here Salem. I've missed you." Jade met me in our last class of the day. She pulled out the chair beside her indicating for me to sit by her. I smiled at her, a full, teeth showing smile as I sat down. "Hi Jade," she smiled back at me, giving me the paper sheet that I was supposed to grab on my way in. "Thank you."
We spent the whole class talking and giggling, although the giggling part was only from me. "So how'd you like your first day?" I asked as the minutes of day went by. "It was good, even better that I made a new friend."
A cheesy grin took over my face at her compliment. "Also, do you think I could get your number? I definitely need your help with the homework." I tried to keep calm as I fished out my phone and handed it to her.
I watched as she typed in her number into my phone. She handed my phone back to me, letting her warm hand caress mine, letting it linger for a minute as goofily stared into her eyes. I took in her attributes.
Her tall height and strong, toned arms. I cleared my throat after someone brushed past me, knocking back into reality. "Just text me when if you need help on anything... Bye." I walked away from her and it took everything in me not to look back.

I need help on the homework please:(
I picked up my phone and shot back the quickest text ever. The phone buzzed for a few seconds before Jade picked up on the other side. "So what class do you need help on?" She paused before responding.
"I lied, I finished the work but I really missed you." I giggled at her response. "That's crazy, missed you too." I could hear her smirk through the screen. She turned ok face time, and I could she her big white smile.
"What are you doing?" I asked, trying to get the conversation going. "I'm unpacking, what about you?" "Nothing, just staring at you." She seemed to like my reply and smiled big, sarcastically rolling her eyes.
I noticed her room the dim lights set a calm aura and the tension grew between us as she stole quick glances from me between folding clothes. She stood while she hung her shirts up, she filled the tank top she her abs peeking through the deliciously tight shirt.
She was more toned than half the guys at our school. She truly had the perfect body, 6 ft maybe taller, muscular arms and by the looks of it a sculpted stomach too. I've never seen her legs but I can guarantee that her lower body looks great too.
"Salem, you good? Zoned out for a sec."
"Um, yeah. Sorry something was just on my mind."
"Oh really? To me it looks like you were checking me out." OH MY FUCKING GODDDDD YOU REALLY CANNOT BE SERIOUS RIGHT NOW JADE WILL THINK IM A PERV. "Oh gosh no." I say after a very questionable pause.
"Hmm, ok weirdo." We laughed simultaneously, my core getting slightly wet, who am I kidding, ridiculously wet. We talked as she packed, the more we talked the more I loosened up letting the conversation flow more easily.

"Finally! I'm finished. Its kinda late now, I have to hang up."
"No whyyy I don't want you to go." I pout. "You fell asleep 3 times, you'll be fine. Besides it'll only be like 8 more hours until I see you again." I reluctantly nod, "Ok, I'll see you in Mr. Caverns class."
"If it makes it better I'll call you so we can get ready together, what time do you wake up?" I smile greatly at her gesture, it was such a simple offer but it probably made my week. "I wake up a 6:30, I expect a call at 6:35." My voice bossy and slightly demanding.
She laughed lowly, "You got it, but I have to go my dad will be home soon and I'll be saying goodbye to my phone for the rest of the year if I'm not asleep."
"Alright, good night Jade."
"Good night Salem, sleep well ok." She flashes a toothful smile before hanging up. I shut my phone off and stare at the ceiling.
I grinned widely to myself like a crazy person, excited by the fact I made a new friend, and a huge crush at the same time. My eyelids felt like bricks as a sneak attack of tiredness washed over me.
Jade's perfect.
