The doorbell and my ringtone, arising me from her slumber. I wipe my crust from my eyes as a open the door. "Morning gorgeous, you ready to go shopping." Jade greets me with a smile and a wrapped sandwich.

"Shit, I forgot about the shopping. Let me get ready, come in." I open the door even more inviting her to enter my house, I take the sandwich and put it on my kitchen counter, then I walked to my room. Jade follows close behind me, looking at her surroundings taking in the picture on the wall. "You look a lot like your mom." I chuckle some, "You should've called me."

"I did, like six times and a texted twice."

"Sorry, come wait in my room while I change." I open my room and walk to Zachary's room across he hall. "Hey obese rat, Jade's over right now, do not yell."

"Ooh, Mama and Baba's not home, what you gonna do."

I walk in and grab a pillow from his chair before throwing at to his head, "Shut up." I walk back to my room and kiss her on her cheek, "Sorry if my breath stinks, I have horrible morning breath."

"Nonsense you're perfect." She smiles taking off her sweater and placing it beside her on the bed. "Thank you baby, now help me pick out an outfit" I pull her to her feet, dragging her to my closet. "Everything in here sucks."

She grabs a pair of red leather pants and an office siren striped blouse. "No, I can't wear this my stomachs too big." I complain tossing the clothes on my bed.

"Fuck that, who are you trying to impress anyways, you already won me. Plus I guarantee you'll look hot." She grabs the pair again ushering me to put it on. "Ok, I'll wear it if you want me to so bad." She shakes my shoulders kissing me.

"Yay! God, you're gonna be so hot. I need to buy a bag that matches this outfit, hold on let me text my mom." She pulls out her phone snapping a picture of my outfit on the bed.

I sigh at her need to spoil me, "Whatever, get out so I can change, hang out to my brother and converse or something."

"Leave, why? I've seen you in underwear and a bra, why can't I stay?."

"Being practically naked and actually being naked are very different things, I'm just not comfortable yet."

"Oh. I don't mean to impose, I'm so sorry." She gets up and walks out with her body slumped.

"Wait Jade, I'll tell you what, if we make it to graduation day I'll 'let you see for all I truly am'"

She curls her lip, "We are defiantly making it to graduation." She pulls me by my hips, planting a deep kiss on my lips. She pushes her tongue into my mouth and moves it around like she was trying to discover the layout of it. 'Fuck, I'm wet' I lay my hands on her chest pushing her away, before things went too far. "You need to get out now." I look into her glistening eyes filled to the brim with lust.

"Whatever you want baby." She closes the door behind her. Allowing me to get change

I stare into the mirror fixing the top until Jade knocks, "You can come in."

"How was my brother? Was he nice?"

"God no, he started interrogating me. He absolutely despises me." Ignore him, he has his own problem to sort out. So how do I look?" I spin around showing myself off. "You look, you look beautiful, truly amazing. Can we just stay here and you can just take pictures of yourself and I can just stare at you, kiss you, touch you, hug you." She gets up and wraps her arms around my shoulders.

"No, I want that bag. Now let's get going." I pat her cheek before grabbing her jacket and key. "Whatever, now where do you want to go to first, jewelry store or mall?"

"You really have to stop with the spoiling, you're gonna turn me into a brat."

She follows me down stairs, "No."

As we get into the car she stares at me like I was a prized painting, she carresses my cheek before her smile fades. "Where is your necklace, the one I gave to you?" I turn to look at the window annoyance coating my face, "You lied about the price."

"What do you mean." You could tell she knew she was caught.

"Why'd you tell me it was 600 when it was 5 grand?"

"I didn't want you to worry about it, I knew you wouldn't accept it. I'm sorry but I needed you to have it, please forgive me."

"Of course I forgive you, just don't lie to me . Especially on something so minor as this." I kiss her, biting her lip in the process. "Ok let's go now, I wanna go to the mall first."

"Today was amazing, two dates in two days is a new record for me." I say in between bites of my pretzel. "Oh really, what was your old one?" She looked up from her meal, "Don't laugh, but it was zero dates in 6 months." She smiles, "Who'd you date before?" I put down my pretzel, the food in my mouth now tasting sour as the memories brought up."

"No one important, I'm ready to go, let's go." I walk over to the trashcan, in an attempt to change the subject.

The drive to her house was quiet and awkward, "Who was she, who did you date before?"

"It's no one really." I fidget with her rings, an obvious sign that I was lying.

"I know you're lying, you're playing with my rings, I know you're lying." She retracts her hand placing it on the steering wheel, "You told me not to lie, pretty hypocritical to do it to me."

"You're right, her name was MaKayla, she was my first girlfriend, if you even want to call it that." I rub my temples feeling my eyes watering and my throat tighten. "You want to talk about it?" I take my hair out of it's ponytail, massaging my scalp, "Pull over into that parking lot over there if you want to hear about it.

She turned into a McDonald's parking lot, and turned off the engine, "So who's MaKayla?"
