After Thought

"You know... I think we made the right choice in telling  Damon and Elena everything aside from the children's gifts." Bonnie said climbing into Tyler's new SUV.

They had just dropped their kids off to their first day at. Salvatore Boarding school, and all though nervous, Bonnie and Tyler both knew that it was the right choice. Abby would be here soon as well, and she would stay at the school today Incase she was needed, the kids did seem to listen to her well. Bonnie also knew that due to her children's gifts, their other ancestors would also do their best to keep the children in check.

"I told you that, I am not always wrong" Tyler said with a smirk pulling his seat belt on.

Bonnie rolled her eyes pulling her own seatbelt on "I simply mean because Damon and Elena seem good...like really good..."

She glanced at Tyler pausing. Not only did they discuss everything that had led up to the birth of the triplets, minus the extend of their gifts. They had also discussed Damon and Elena's life together with their daughter and the new baby they had on the way.

"Their lives without the supernatural has been... well what any of us would dream of...I kind of wish our kids could grow up like Sarah."

With a sigh Tyler put his vehicle into gear "I know, but we will make the best of this, we have got time. Bonnie we lived relatively normal lives, and did our parents before everything. Let's just find out who this Zander guy is that Lexa keeps talking about, maybe we can get that journal open."

Bonnie nodded "okay, Matt said we could meet him at Grams house. He figured if the police data base doesn't have answers maybe grams house will...and if not..."

"Then maybe something Alaric has?" Tyler added pulling on to the road that lead from the Salvatore Boarding school. "I don't think he has anything to do with the Shadow figure though Bon..."

"I know." Bonnie said glancing at Tyler for a moment. "But still she hasn't stopped talking about him, and there is definitely something, at the very least magical about him, otherwise I'd be able to get into that journal...and you're sure that there is no one in your family with that name?

"Not that I can remember, and we should wait before having Lexa ask mom, we don't want her not telling us things, or someone over there hearing just to be safe."

"I know, Matt is the right choice for this right now, and he's good at it." Bonnie admitted focusing her eyes out the window at the tress and houses passing by.

Having dinner with Elena and Damon the other night was a lot, but in a good way. Even though Tyler and Damon were not what you would classify as friends, they had a common interest, their children.

Bonnie's favourite moment of that night was when her and Elena had been sitting on the couch, her with wine, Elena with sparkling water. Damon and Tyler had been on the floor with the kids for about a half hour, and for, probably the only time since they had met Damon, the two men were actually laughing together.

With a smile Bonnie got up from the couch and had made her way into the kitchen. Elena followed, after glancing at the two men still playing with the children.

"So you and Tyler?" Elena had whispered in Bonnie's ear. Probably forgetting that Tyler was still a werewolf, and could hear them pretty well, even if they were to whisper.

Bonnie leaned towards the sink turning the faucet on, pretending starting to wash some dishes. "Tyler and I what?" Bonnie asked laughing lightly.

Elena set her glass down leaning on the counter with a smirk "Bonnie Bennett, don't you dare play dumb with me... are you two a thing now because..."
