"I'm sorry what?" Alaric asked furrowing his brows
Bonnie chewed on her lip then wrinkled her nose "yeah...."
"Like who?" Caroline's eyes went wide with excitement.
"It doesn't matter Care, they are not contacting any dead people for anyone." Tyler took a deep breath
Caroline narrowed her eyebrows "I wasn't going to.. I was just..."
"Curious, I know" Bonnie said "but there is more you need to know" Bonnie motioned for them all to sit down, plopping down on the couch as the same time Tyler did.
"Is that how you came back?" Alaric asked sitting in one of the chairs across from Bonnie and Tyler, Caroline taking the one beside him after rolling her eyes at Alaric's motion to sit.
"No" Tyler said "that's a different story, I was never dead..."
"You made all of us believe you were...we went to your funeral Tyler!" Caroline snapped "do you have any idea what that felt like for all of us? Especially to Damon!"
"Don't start" Bonnie signed "and that's not what we are here for, this is about our children."
"The ones we didn't know you even had" Caroline said raising her hand "or that they were Tyler's.... did Enzo know?"
"Okay that's enough, there is more important things I believe we have to discuss then who parented who, and who knew what, otherwise I'm guessing we wouldn't be having this conversation" Alaric said leaning forward with his elbows on his jeans, "I'm ready to listen"
Bonnie glanced at Tyler who sat back on the couch nodding.
"Wait so are like you two... like a thing?" Caroline asked with uncertainty and a slight annoyance.
"What? No" Bonnie exclaimed, her own annoyance present "can we please explain what this is about now?"
"Yes" Alaric said glaring at Caroline
"Fine". Caroline sighed throwing her hands up in surrender.
"Thank you," Bonnie said glancing at Tyler again who shrugged staying silent, he had nothing he wanted to say, he still didn't want his kids here, he liked it better when they were cloaked and safe at Abby Bennett's house.
"From the moment I found out I was pregnant I was terrified, all that flashed in my mind was that the things that happened to me would happen to my child... yes child, I didn't know I was having triplets at all. I literally pictured my child as me. Or worse that someone or something would take him or her away from me, Grams was dead, my father was dead, my mom was a vampire I would be my only blood left, you know? And everything with Kai... and I knew he was not dead when I got pregnant, and then after..."
Bonnie glances at Alaric with an apologetic look "seeing everything that happened to Josie and Lizzie before they were even born... I just felt the need to protect my own child... children. Not to mention being from the Bennett blood line... we always get dragged into... vampire business and most of us die from it, I couldn't risk it, I'm sorry I should have told you guys but I figured if you all didn't know then it would help keep them free of this life. I wouldn't want anything to happen to you guys trying to protect them either."
"Or for it to be compelled out of anyone" Tyler added
Bonnie narrowed her eyes at him looking back to Caroline and Alaric "do you understand what I'm trying to say?"
"I think so" Alaric nodded, "I understand wanting to protect your children, especially from all of this" Alaric glanced around the office
